Issues with implementation of appointment service. My first issue with Riverside Toyota Service Dpeartment was with their implementations of converting to only appointment based maintenance service. I did know they were committed to only serviceing by appointment. I went in for a tire rotation May 19 - told I had to make an appointment. Attempted to make an appointment online and was unsuccessful- finally made appointment via phone. The appointment itself was satisfactory. Technician was polite and timely. But the idea of making an appointment for my next oil change this far in advance is ridiculous or an attempt by Riverside Toyota to make money from car owners that do not pay attention to miles driven. It is rare that the estimated miles are driven within the time frame given. As I told the technician, I will call and change my appointment as needed not “as estimated”. More

Never before seen issue, but they went the extra mile. Had an issue with brake controller errors and warnings. Service dept replaced sensor as what the code reader directed. I had purchased certified used and Riverside honored the warranties extended. They asked to keep the truck to dig deep and find the problem. I explained I worked out of town for 7 days straight. They gave me a loaner for the 7 days and was able to diagnose and fix the problem. Clyde (Service Manager) called me regularly and kept me informed of the progress. Many thanks for going the extra mile. More
