Disappointment Our company, Holston Gases bought the 2016 Silverado brand new from this dealership. I have had all of the service work done at this dealership. Two w Our company, Holston Gases bought the 2016 Silverado brand new from this dealership. I have had all of the service work done at this dealership. Two weeks ago, I took the truck in because the transmission was slipping and the air had quit working. I was told that the transmission needed to be re-built, and the compressor had to be replaced. The truck came with a 60,000 mile warranty, one of the worst in the industry, so it would be around $ 5000.00 to repair the truck. The attitude of the service rep was no big deal, this kind of thing happens all the time. I notified my boss, and they are checking through the company to see how many GM trucks the company owns around this age. Two years old. Holston will no longer purchase GM trucks. Also, my brother owns a 2015 GMC Sierra. His transmission has been acting strange and it had only 28000 miles on it. He and his wife bought a new 2017 Denali, and the transmission had already been replaced in it. I believe that GM has known there is a problem with these transmissions, and have chosen to do nothing about it. I have babied this truck since the company bought it for me, because I was told I could purchase it for a really good deal once it was depreciated. I would never consider buying a GM product now. Don’t recommend Oil filter leaked. Oil level almost a quart low. Marked up air filter 100%. Falsified paperwork on tire pressures. Left oily rag in cab of truck. Will Oil filter leaked.
