Bought a 2016 Yukon from them told them to make sure I had an extended warranty for the stuff I know these trucks have problems with, lifters, trannys, etc. they sold me warranty had a no start issue 2 mon had an extended warranty for the stuff I know these trucks have problems with, lifters, trannys, etc. they sold me warranty had a no start issue 2 months later towed it to them. They said it was a battery (435.00) to replace. Fine. While there I asked them to do a tranny service since I knew the original owner and knew it wasn’t done. Took almost a full week to get it done no call for a quote after Matt in service assured he would let me know how much it was. They call tell me my truck is done. The bill was 1400.00 plus. Dollars. 1000dollars for a tranny service I would have told them forget it if I knew that. Plus the also couldn’t fix the broken sunroof it came with. They were very rude about the car being there since it was a gmc even thought the finance guy said take it for every thing. I took to eagle Chevrolet and will never be back at that dodge dealer HORRIBLE SERVICE. . More
If there was a zero star rating that's what I would score them. Serives is horrible, I called and scheduled service for Friday, March 21 2025 8:00 am. The reason I wanted it looked at was my steering is ve them. Serives is horrible, I called and scheduled service for Friday, March 21 2025 8:00 am. The reason I wanted it looked at was my steering is very stiff when turning. I believe it's the lower intermediate shaft on my steering column to the electronic power steering unit. Possibly the EPS it's self. I have a warranty so I decided to bring it in. Riverhead Chrysler Dodge Jeep ram had my truck all day and never even looked at it. I was then told if I like I could pick it up and drop it off on Monday and they would look at it then. I do not recommend using Riverhead Chrysler Dodge Jeep ram for any service. The funny part is I've been thinking about trading in my ram and getting something newer because I just hit 100,000 Miles. In addition, my wife's car needed to be replaced because it's at 96,000 miles. After my experience today I would never do business with Riverhead Chrysler Dodge Jeep ram. More
Service department manager and receptionist at the new location are the worst. Brought my truck in the night before my scheduled appointment waited 2 days to hear back about a suspension diagnoses and was location are the worst. Brought my truck in the night before my scheduled appointment waited 2 days to hear back about a suspension diagnoses and was told we still haven’t gotten around to it and that they have vehicles ahead of mine that were walk-ins. What’s the point of an appointment if my vehicle is just going to sit. Currently picking up my vehicle and never going back! More
The service department is the WORST! Do ANYTHING to avoid Riverhead Dodge. We purchased out trucks from them and they will do anything to not cover warranty issues. If I could have put no stars I would have. I bought a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee back in October. It had just under 40,000 miles on it and was in excellent cosmetic condition. There was some noi I bought a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee back in October. It had just under 40,000 miles on it and was in excellent cosmetic condition. There was some noise when I test drove it and was told it was the water pump. Rocky said they would replace before handing it over. Then February came. The engine light goes on. I bring it my mechanic and he states it could be a recall so I should take it back to the dealer. He proceeds to change the oil and told me that someone put the wrong weighted oil in the Jeep. That would have been Riverhead Dodge. I call the dealership to get an appointment and speak to "Frank" after some back and forth he gets me in. A few days later he tells me that they need to charge me nearly $700 to take off the valve covers to find out whats wrong. NO, not fix it but to find out whats wrong. I said there is no way I am paying for that. It has less then 46,000 miles on it. I asked isn't there a power-train warranty on it? He said there is nothing he could do. I said that is bull**** and an engine isn't even broken in under 50,000. So I said so you are telling me I bought a piece of **** car from a piece of **** dealership? How is there no warranty? I will need to ask my lawyer friend about lemon laws. He said he called manager and said there is nothing he can do. I was livid but told "Frank" that I am not mad at you but the situation. I said that several times. I got a call several minutes later from a man who stated he was a manager of the dealership. He started right off by being rude and condescending. "Did you buy an extended warranty?" I said I did not. Why buy one and pay $1,000's for a car that has less then 40,000 miles it has to have a PTW. He called me an idiot and an xxx**** for not buying one. "Who buys a used car and not buy an extended warranty?" I said oh so now its a used car not a certified pre-owned car?" He kept cutting me off. Then he said who do I think I am calling his dealership a piece of ****. I asked "your dealership?" and he said "yes. I am the owner and you are going to get a lawyer?" I asked "Why did you lie to me about being a manager?" He said "I can say whatever the F*** I want" I said I did not say that I said I would talk to a lawyer friend about lemon laws. He continued to yell and curse at me. I had enough from this guy and hung up. I messaged JEEP corporate that night and through an online chat found out that the JEEP has a power-train warranty and is still covered for 1,000's of miles. I took it to Smithhaven JEEP and was treated like gold and the Jeep was fixed without delay. Riverhead Jeep are scammers and should be avoided at all costs. This review is looking pretty epic! Nice! Purchased a used 2019 jeep Cherokee with 28,000 miles on it I put around 7000 miles on it had a shimmy in the front end. Brought it in for first oil change and was informed that it needed new front brakes a it I put around 7000 miles on it had a shimmy in the front end. Brought it in for first oil change and was informed that it needed new front brakes and rotors cost me $700.00. I feel that the car was sold to me with them knowing this issue. I Spoke to sale manager and he said the car is inspected by the service department and if it needed brakes they would have been done. When I spoke to service and told them how disappointed I was they agreed that I should have to put brakes on a car that was on its first oil change. But thier hands were tied ant that when they make suggestions to the sales department that they don't always take their recommendations. Will never ever buy a vehicle from them again. You spend 37,000 on a car plus 4500 on an extended warranty and taxes putting it close to 40,000 with financing and you end up paying for front brake job at first oil change. More
Absolutely the worst! !! Brought my 2021 Ram in for a battery issue, truck will die when it sits for 24hrs. Initially they did not listen to the symptoms I provided to them !! Brought my 2021 Ram in for a battery issue, truck will die when it sits for 24hrs. Initially they did not listen to the symptoms I provided to them. Then when I pushed for them to run tests on the truck they tried to make me pay for these tests if they couldn't find anything wrong. Truck has 12,300 miles on it & is still under original warranty & has an extended warranty on it!!! This was alarming to me & I had to get Ram Customer Care involved. I opened a case & they told me I shouldn't have to pay for any diagnosing or repairs. How many unsuspecting customers probably pay them while they also get reimbursed through Ram?!?! Received the truck back with a report of "could not duplicate". I have zero faith that the dealer actually ran the necessary tests. Wasted a week leaving my truck there with zero results! Truck still goes dead! Will never return to this dealer!!!!! More

NEVER go to this dealership - they are unprofessional and will take advantage of you when you bring your car in for service - And when you complain- they only care that you yelled at them over the phone. will take advantage of you when you bring your car in for service - And when you complain- they only care that you yelled at them over the phone.
