I recently purchased a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee (Overland) from this dealership and am extremely pleased with my experience with Mike Chavez and Bobby Albert. So, before contacting any dealers, I knew exactly what I wanted, what it cost (invoice), what Chrysler was offering in terms of rebates, and the holdback amount. For me, it simply came down to price and trust. I contacted a number of dealers in the area, and Riverdale (as well as its sister store Eastchester, incidentally), were the ONLY dealers that were honest with me throughout the process -- no hidden fees, no sales tactics, no xx. They were straight up, which is why I decided to give my business to them. What I didn't expect was the level of professionalism and courtesy that they exhibited throughout the process. I wanted a certain set of options for my Jeep, and they went to great lengths to find the right vehicle for me, which entailed an inventory trade with another dealer in the area. Everything was all set to go, deal was done, when that other dealer sold the specific vehicle I wanted to someone else who was willing to pay more. When that happened, Riverdale (Bobby) went above and beyond to make things right, even though it was not their fault. He found another unit with the options I wanted, plus some additional equipment, and offered to sell it to me at the same price as the original vehicle -- that is true customer service, and it is frankly very rare among businesses these days. All in all, this dealership really impressed me, and I wouldn't hesitate to send any of my family or friends there. More

He gave me all information and next day I already met him in the store. I came to check on 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Mr. Burat Akbar ,very nice tall gentelman, invited me to have a look on different options. It took us about 40 minutes to discuss everything and I already knew what car I want. It was not my first car to buy but this one was exceptional. Service was very good,people are friendly and most important honest with you. I am very picky about the service but this one was just perfect. No hidden costs, no tricks, no B.S. I picked up my car after 2 days and very happy with my purchase. Margie Vasquez is the Sales person that we worked with, she was amazing from the start. She was upfront and honest with us (which was extremely refreshing as we had been dealing with many other dealers wh she was amazing from the start. Unlike other dealers she did not lie to us about the availability of the vehicle just to get us through the door, and she had no problem arranging a test drive for us when we requested it. She even came into work on her day off so that we could pick up the the car as soon as it was ready. We will definitely be recommending Margie to our friends and family - she is an excellent representation of Jeep and we will definitely contact her as soon as we are ready to purchase our Grand Cherokee. Her manager, Bobby, was also great and upfront with us about the cost of the vehicle. We did not feel as though he was trying to be deceitful in any way since for the most part what he told us was consistent with out previously conducted research. The only issue that came up was with our trade-in vehicle - we had uncovered a different price through our research than what he was offering; but even in that situation he was able to explain his reasoning and we were eventually able to reach a price that we were all fairly comfortable with. Jason, the Finance Manager was also great. From our experience with Finance Managers they are very pushy, and eager to get you to sign a bunch of paperwork without allowing you to read it and fully understand what you are agreeing to. Jason was not like this at all, he took his time with us, allowed us to read documents with additional explanations from him and answered any questions that we had to our satisfaction. Overall, our experience at Riverdale Jeep was surprisingly excellent. Margie has since followed up with us to ensure the smooth running of the Compass (we had some concerns about a grinding sound from the brakes), which is much appreciated. Had we known, or even suspected that we could get this kind of service here we would have saved a lot of time and energy (and stress). Thank you to Margie, Bobby and Jason for making our experience with Jeep a great one - we will be back! More
