Unsatisfied customer I purchased my first motor vehicle from this dealership which has turned my first-time car experience into a nightmare. I arrived at this dealership w I purchased my first motor vehicle from this dealership which has turned my first-time car experience into a nightmare. I arrived at this dealership with the intent of purchasing a car as a co-buyer and throughout the whole process I mislead to believe so. We both signed an offer letter for 19.5K, which included all necessary fees. Four hours later the Sale Manager came back with a high interest rate and when we questioned why it was so high we were told that it was due to the person I was purchasing the car with low credit score. Our monthly payment would total up to $395 unbeknownst to us the reason being was an added warranty applied without our authority. We were uncomfortable with the numbers since it was higher than we anticipated. We told the Manager Frank that we were unhappy with the number and will continue our search elsewhere and he insisted that this was the best offer we were going to get given the fact we both wanted to be owners of the vehicle and one of us had a lower credit score. To put us at ease, he said he would throw a 3-year warranty free of charge. Unaware that we were deceived we proceded with the process. We were told that finance would finalize our paperwork and it would take roughly 45 minutes. It wasn't until 2 hours later, 15 minutes before closing, that the Sales Rep Jose brought us the contract and rushed us through the signing processes. That night while looking over the contract we came to the realization that I was the sole owner of the car and a fee of $3000 was added on for an extended warranties without our knowledge. We were furious but was unable to dispute this matter since your establishment was closed on Sunday. Not once throughout this process were we told that I would be the sole owner of this vehicle. I feel like we were taking advantage of because we were first-time car buyers and are unaware of the process. Monday, August 20th, 2018 I sent out an email regarding these discrepancies and that my father in law will be representing me in the matter until I was able to come in person after work. Frank told my father in law that we could come back to the dealership later that evening with the car so we could handle this matter and when we arrived he was uncooperative, not willing to help and very rude. He said there wasn’t much he can do since his General Manager was on vacation. At this point I was confused, I had spoken with the lenders earlier that day and was told this could have been easily resolved with a flat cancellation and a reprocessing of paper work. We were intentionally mislead to in to purchasing this car, through false advertisement, adding in unauthorized fee’s while failing to disclose the full price and misrepresenting the owners of the car. I look forward to settling this matter amicably. If however, the matter is not resolved I will consider taking further actions. Regards, Unsatisfied customer More
