The last time I went to a Toyota service center for work on a recall item, I was told I needed $768 worth of work, on a car with less than 18,000 mile The last time I went to a Toyota service center for work on a recall item, I was told I needed $768 worth of work, on a car with less than 18,000 miles. When I went to my mechanic, all I needed was wiper blades. The mechanic had a cousin working in the Toyota center and after calling him, the response he got was"That's how we make our income." So I really hesitated to go to a Toyota center. I had just moved to Pleasantville from Brooklyn. My sister only uses Rivera Toyota to do all work on her car and took me there for an inspection about a month ago; ergo when I got the notice about the air bag, I called Kevin Feldman. He checked stock and as he had the needed parts we made an appointment. From the minute I got there, I was treated with the utmost courtesy. The waiting area as well as the bathroom were spotless! I got my car back in under an hour and a half. As I was sitting in the waiting room, I listen as the mechanics came to the customers and discussed what was wrong with their cars and told them that it could be done today and what the estimated cost would be! Right then and there, I knew this was my new mechanic. I could feel completely confident to bring my car in. Mr. Feldman is to be commended for his professionalism, courtesy, and for inspiring confidence in the center. More
Yearly Inspection + I've been a long standing customer since 2000 with prior ownership and am please in knowing that the new ownership continues to be ethical. I went in I've been a long standing customer since 2000 with prior ownership and am please in knowing that the new ownership continues to be ethical. I went in for my routine yearly inspection and I was told i needed new front brakes and new front rotors. I live on a budget and couldn't afford to get car inspection, brakes and rotors all at once. I also have to return to get 2 recalls taken care of. Did my homework with in 2 days calling a few mechanics I know well and find out how much it would cost for parts and labor for new front brakes and rotors and Toyota was spot on. I hate being taken for a fool because I'm a women. And I hate feeling pressured to do something if i can drive safely until i get the moneys necessary to do the replacement/ fixtures. So thank you for honesty, continued ethics and treating me like I'm still a valued customer/ toyota family. More

The service rep was very knowledgable and pointed out that there was a discrepancy in the type of oil that was to be used in my vehicle. He made amends and the right thing was done at no extra charge. They also said that the car should be done in an hour. And it was. Treating the customer kindly and efficiently. This guarantees me that future services should go just as well ! Thanks gents ! More
