Riverfront's Service Department has always treated me with respect and always done a great job!! I always get my maintenance done here for my Caravan & they're fair and don't ever try to sell me anything with respect and always done a great job!! I brought my van in on Thursday for a broken strut and strut plate. It has an extended warranty through Chrysler. I was called at noon on Friday by the service writer. He stated that they were waiting for strut plate. It has an extended warranty through Chrysler. I was called at noon on Friday by the service writer. He stated that they were waiting for Chrysler to send an adjuster out to approve the repair, then they would have to order the parts. He said he would call me Friday afternoon. No phone call. Saturday I spoke to the service writer he told me it takes at least 1 day to have an adjuster come out. Why did he tell me on Friday that he would know something? My husband called on Monday morning at 830 and spoke to the service writer. He told my husband that Riverfront needed to send Chrysler pictures of the problem. I called Chrysler directly at noon and they told me they were still waiting, since Friday, for Riverfront to send the pictures. I left several messages with the service manager at Riverfront. After several hours he finally called me back saying they sent the pictures. He said he would order the parts ASAP so when it was approved they could fix it right away. My husband spoke to the Service manager at 430 and he told my husband he would go ahead and order the parts. I keep getting the run-around. This is not the first problem I have had with Riverfront. I only took it there because it is close to my house and didn't want to risk driving too far with a broken strut. More
