The service center implied they would cover the car if it failed the oil c Called about an Impreza that was having an issue with high oil consumption. The service center implied they would cover the car if it failed the oil consumption test, if it passed they said I would just have to pay for an oil change. I took time off work to go there. The clerk at the service desk remembered our conversation, took roughly 30 seconds to type on her computer then tell me my car wasn’t covered. I would not trust a dealer that will lie to try to get the price of an oil consumption test with much of anything. More

unfair sales offer Due to the distance to get to dealership (75miles) I Contacted Nick the sales manager at River City Subaru about trading in a car on a new in stock ve Due to the distance to get to dealership (75miles) I Contacted Nick the sales manager at River City Subaru about trading in a car on a new in stock vehicle, explaining that I didn't want to make the trip for a NADA average trade in for my very clean, very low miles car. After sending pictures and detailed info. He " Guaranteed I would be more than satisfied with the deal he would have for me". Arrived at dealership to have my car "apraised" (which was a joke) he offers me $500 over NADA rough trade value, an insult to say the least. And certainly not what he said. Dishonest deception to get me in the dealership. The salesman seemed shocked that I would not agree to the deal. Actually did not think they would offer me enough to get my trade anyway and was going to buy the new car outright anyway until these unfair tactics were used. Long story short picking up my new 10th Subaru Saturday morning from an honest dealer after all details worked out on phone and Fax. Not to mention the thousands I saved off River City Subaru price. Won't ever consider River City Subaru for any services again More

This was my 11th vehicle purchase and the worst car buying experience of my life. Salesperson didnt know anything. The car sold itself. Business department is just as inept. Beware of the "extended" warranty that overlaps the factory warranty rather than picking up when the factory expires. Been called in three seperate times to fix mistakes in their paperwork. Will not even go there for an oil change now. More
