They are very easy going businessmen, not the typical used car salesmen who try to hassle you to make a deal. They gave me the highest trade in value I've ever received on one of my vehicles. Chris and Chris have always been very pleasant to deal with, and any time I've asked for help, they are there for me; from mechanic referrals to oil changes, they are always willing to give a helping hand. I would refer this company to anyone looking for a good deal! More
This was a great experience. I purchased a 1997 Lexus LX450 from the boys down at River City Car Exchange. It has been a great car for the time I have owned it. I understand used cars are a crap shoot, but I have only spent about $400 in repairs in 3 years. I have no complaints. They were honest about the issues the knew of, and the price was below average for all others I looked at. Thanks for that. More
Buyer Beware Rivercity car exchange failed to deliver the 2 year warranty I paid for and would not give me a refund of the cost of the warranty. I purchased a 2008 Rivercity car exchange failed to deliver the 2 year warranty I paid for and would not give me a refund of the cost of the warranty. I purchased a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 truck from River City Car Exchange in January 2014. The bill of sale included a $999 charge for a 2 year extended warranty on the truck. Because of the high mileage on the truck this warranty was the biggest factor in the negotiations. Both owners were present and took part in the sale, Chris Fries and Chris Sitterding. I made numerous email and telephone request for the certificate of warranty to be sent. In March I received an email from Chris S. that my warranty would be sent out that week and that they had a change of representatives with their warranty provide thus causing the delay. Three weeks went by and still no warranty. I emailed Chris with no response and was able to speak to him after several phone attempts. Chris S. was now telling me that they had changed warranty vendors and the new vendor would not issue a warranty on the truck because it had been too long since the date of purchase. I asked him to find another warranty company to fulfill our agreement because that was the basis of me purchasing the truck. He said he would have to check around and get back to me by the end of the week. He also stated that he would either have the warranty or a full refund issued and sent out by the end of the week. That is the last I heard from anyone and I've called and emailed Chris S. numerous times and he has become completely unresponsive. I now own a truck that has begun to have mechanical problems as I feared it would and no warranty coverage and no money to go towards any repairs. These guys are terrible. More
