Extremely unprofessional and shady! DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP 3/18/2021! NO STARS! (Only put a star because it wouldn’t let me post without at least clicking on one star). I’m a mother of 5 Kids and w DEALERSHIP 3/18/2021! NO STARS! (Only put a star because it wouldn’t let me post without at least clicking on one star). I’m a mother of 5 Kids and was in need of a bigger 3 row SUV. I inquired about a Acura MDX that they had on their lot of pre-owned cars. Everything went smoothly or so I thought. I signed all the documents required to get the vehicle. At this point I was told the car is yours. They had me call my insurance company and pay for DMV fees. Stayed there a few hours with my cranky 2 year old, to make sure everything was done. I was than told car needed to get a sensor fixed that I could pick it up the next day. I said ok fine. That they would have it ready for us the next day not to stress. The next day I had my fiancé drop me off to make it easier on us to pick up the car. The dealership is closer to my job about 30 mins away compared to my house which is an hour. Throughout the day we don’t receive any updates till late afternoon Rich called to let us know they got the part late and car will be done the following day. At this point We are extremely aggravated and annoyed. But we say ok. The next day we do the same thing I have my fiancé drop me off at work and he drives the hour home to then have to pick me up later to get the car at the dealership. No calls from the dealership...I call dealership, no one is available to speak to me... I leave my number for a call back. I finally get a call back from Rich, yes come down later this afternoon car should be done by then. We get there we wait another hour there... finally they come to talk to us that they can’t sell us the car. That it’s too much money to fix the problem and that they would lose out on this deal if they actually fix it. LIKE ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! All the wait and back and fourth. The lies for the two days that they “got” the part to fix it.. to now cancel the contract because it would be too much out of pocket!!! They wouldn’t make money on the deal!!! The car should’ve been looked at and fixed before they one posted it on their website and two signed off on a deal! The thing that took me off the back edge is ... at the end was trying to get my DMV fees that I paid in cash for... they gave me an extremely hard time on getting that back. Telling us that we would have to drive back the next day to get a refund check. I was not haven’t it.... this was on them not us! I was not driving an hour back, so I had to get loud to get my money back. It was uncalled for and everything was extremely shady and unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to anyone!!! Terrible Experience I do not recommend Rite Cars. I went to Rite Cars on a Sunday and inquired about a 2011 Nissan Xterra on the lot which was selling for $8,990.00. I do not recommend Rite Cars. I went to Rite Cars on a Sunday and inquired about a 2011 Nissan Xterra on the lot which was selling for $8,990.00. A salesman and the owner were present. I was told that a woman who was exiting the showroom when I arrived just put a deposit on it. However, the owner told the salesman to give me the keys, and told me to inspect the car in case she could not obtain financing. I said that was not necessary, and asked the salesman what the car would cost if I paid cash. I explained that I did not want to finance or buy an extended warranty. I was told I could buy the car for the advertised price of $8,990.00 plus a $995.00 dealer prep fee. They told me they would know by Tuesday if the woman obtained financing and they took my name and number. I called Rite Cars on Monday evening and spoke with the sales manager. I asked if the woman obtained financing. I was told that she failed to provide her bank statements. Also, she was unemployed and had bad credit. Therefore, the Xterra was still for sale and I could buy it immediately. I then confirmed that I could buy the car for $8,990 (plus a $995.00 dealer prep fee) and scheduled a test drive for Tuesday at noon. I arrived at Rite Aid on Tuesday and met with the sales manager. I was told I had to wait because only one salesman was working and he was not there. I noticed the Xterra was not on the lot and asked where it was. I was then brought to a lot behind the store and I saw the Xterra was freshly detailed and had a new inspection sticker. I was then brought back into the dealership and waited. After about 20 minutes I was told I had to come back to test drive the Xterra because the missing salesman had the only dealer plate. However, I could meet with the finance manager now. I then reminded the sales manager that I wanted to pay cash and I did not want to buy an extended warranty. He then told me that Rite Cars had invested $14,000 in the Xterra (purchase and repairs) and it was impossible for me to buy it for $8,990 unless I financed and bought an extended warranty. I asked him what had changed since I spoke with the owner on Sunday and him the night before. He had no explanation but said he would call the owner. He then supposedly called the owner and said the owner was trying to work things out and I should wait in the waiting room. I then waited for approximately 40 minutes and said I was not going to wait any longer. I then asked the sales manager to call me when he hears back from the owner. The sales manager never called me and I drove to the dealership on Wednesday. I saw the Xterra was parked in front of the office and was being prepared for delivery. The next day it was listed as sold on their website. A week later Rite Cars left me a message asking if I was interested in buying different car. The experience with Rite Cars was very frustrating. However, it worked out for the better because I was able to buy a newer, better Xterra at another dealer for less than $14,000 and with no BS. More
