About a week afterwards, I received an email f com. Never heard anything back from the dealership and somehow was added to their marketing email list. More like Rite-out-of-auction sold me a vehicle with 0 put in from the dealer to make it road worthy, salesmen “Alex” told me all it needed was a glass replacement despite knowing I’m traveling over 250 m put in from the dealer to make it road worthy, salesmen “Alex” told me all it needed was a glass replacement despite knowing I’m traveling over 250 miles to come see it. In reality the vehicle had bald wiper blades, broken indicator stalk(minor discount given for this one), wrong size mismatched & very low tread tires, extensive wheel damage on all 4 wheels, trunk panel missing, dirty oil and air filters, broken glass(the only disclosed issue), seat belt buckle malfunctioning(which salesmen Alex was unable to let me know when sitting with me on the test drive) interior had strong tabaco smell and was poorly cared for and needed major suspension work among other abnormal wear/damage for the vehicle’s age/mileage, dead key fob battery I really mean 0 work put in from the dealer. Given the broken blinker stalk I couldn’t do a proper test drive and didn’t notice the major suspension problem and some of the other minor things so i purchased it. Surely enough in less than 72 hrs and so much put in to trying to make this vehicle work for me I ask the dealer for any help their solutions were: 1. I pay for parts they’ll cover labor if I bring the vehicle to them (knowing it’s a 4hr drive for me) 2. Swap into another of their vehicles paying $1 a mile (knowing I live 250 miles away) 3. Return paying a $2500 fee. I had a breakdown first time I heard those. While granted they gave me some time to decide and “generously” reduced their return fee to $2300 a dealer representative reminded me that I purchased the vehicle “as is” so they don’t want to hear me about doing what’s fair. While this is more than some worse con-artist will do at the end of the day I was still scammed off $2.3k not to mention everything else I put in to try to make this work. Truly a nightmare Don’t do business with them. More
