I'm sorry to hear your friend's purchase experience was troublesome, but I wanted to shed some light on the situation. Pictures were taken during the inspection which show NO damage to the passenger rear tire or wheel, and the customer reviewed the car at delivery. Your friend confirmed with the Sales Consultant, Kevin McGrath, that there was no damage to address at the time of delivery. It could not have been dark out, as it doesn't get dark until 8:30 PM, and the latest we're ever open is 7 PM. Your friend also had scuff damage on the side of the car, to which she responded that she was unaware. We confirmed with your friend that the damage to the passenger rear tire and wheel was caused by her after she took delivery of the car from us. We offered to help replace the tire and repair the damaged wheel at our cost, however, she arrived at our Service Department expecting and demanding us to replace all 4 tires, which was never agreed. Finally, your friend later mentioned that the Check Engine light was on, to which I responded that we would be happy to look at that issue and resolve it, or she could bring it to another Volvo dealer if she chose since the car is under warranty.
