After searching many dealerships in our area and beyond I finally had my decision narrowed down to two trucks one of which was at Rick Weavers. Chris was not only patient but accommodating through this stressful process. I brought Chris the quote on the other vehicle, asking price & pictures. Chris didn't hesitate to tell me that the other vehicle at that price is the better deal. More truck for my money. He could have made a sale but he chose to do the right thing. That impressed me much! I asked for some of his cards to pass out to others who are going through the painstaking task of finding the 'perfect vehicle in these trying economic times. Give Rick Weavers a try and remember to look up salesman Chris Pfister. Thank you, Tracy P More
Called Rick Weaver Buick GMC on Saturday afternoon about a 2022 Sierra AT4 that they had advertised on their website. Spoke with salesperson "Joe". He asked me if I was interested in the black one or the w a 2022 Sierra AT4 that they had advertised on their website. Spoke with salesperson "Joe". He asked me if I was interested in the black one or the white one. I said the white one and he said "you're lucky, as we have just sold the black one" Because I live 2 1/2 hours away from the dealership, I couldn't make it there before closing on Saturday so I told Joe I would be there first thing (8:30am, opening time) Monday morning. He agreed to this, however asked me not to come before 9:30 am because they had a meeting. I agreed. So, Sunday I spent time clearing all my stuff from my trade in vehicle in apprehension of purchasing a new truck on Monday. Excited, heck YES. Let me add, I am pushing 72 years of age and a 110 mile one way drive is quite cumbersome. Well folks, up early Monday morning, all necessary paperwork in hand, wife in passenger seat and off to Rick Weaver GMC. Running right on schedule to meet with Joe at 9;30. Got just into the outskirts of Erie (10 minutes from Dealership) and got a call from Joe saying that they had just taken (that very morning) a deposit from another customer on the truck that I was coming to purchase. Joe said he was sorry and that he called me as soon as he found out about the deposit. I did continue to the dealership. Met with Joe and he said that he didn't think he or the dealership did anything wrong. I do agree, that we did not agree on a price yet, or finalize any transaction as of this time, nor was I asked to put a deposit on the vehicle, mainly because the personal at Rick Weavers hadn't seen or even asked about my trade in vehicle. I guess I am a fool, or just too "old school" to plainly trust peoples word these days. Probably better off NOT to have done business with this dealership in the long run if this is the way they do business. Thanks for listening. Please use discretion when shopping here. More
