Upon entering, there was no one at service department, after finding them they were nice but not knowledgeable. There are stained , mismatched ceiling tiles and dirty floors. No one answered the phone call to service department and no returned calls. This is nothing new to Rick Hill service department. Unfortunately it is the norm and has been for a long time. Hopefully one of these days it will all change.! More
Service department overcharges double the value of a typical service. Oil change was $250 and other BMW dealers quoted $125. Called to complain and they stated they used "BMW Standard pricing." 3-1/2 hours for routine service after a two week wait. Dropped the car off for an oil change and check a few other items. Returned after 2-1/2 hours to be told they were busy and it would be another hour Dropped the car off for an oil change and check a few other items. Returned after 2-1/2 hours to be told they were busy and it would be another hour. I asked why I needed to make an appointment in the first place if this was going to be the speed of service. The rather arrogant service rep said the appointment was to get me in the queue. After another hour wait the car was returned with oil change and diagnostic for the other requested service to just replace all the components. The over charged, unprofessional service received at Rick Hill Imports is by far the worst dealership experience I’ve encountered. Plus the car was not even attempted to be washed or even a quick spray off. Paid roughly $10 a minute for terrible service. Highly recommend looking elsewhere if searching for service on your import. More
My son’s Porsche Cayenne broke down in Greeneville and had to be towed to the dealership. The service department had a very long wait and I called the GM, Mike Fraiser to see if anything could be done. He had to be towed to the dealership. He had a cancellation and got me in the very next day for a proper diagnosis and estimate. Jeff in Service called me and got things moving right away, I was extremely pleased. A part was ordered from Germany. It was sent to Critz in Savannah where I usually go for service. The dealership got the part about 8 weeks later. They arranged to send it to Rick Hill Imports because I was in Virginia when it came in. An appointment was set for my new 2021 X5.. Finally my new car was fixed. The only problem was with the mechanic who made a mistake with the diagnosis. If I had not had the paperwork from Critz service department, my new car would not have been fixed. Critz parts manager, Richard, would not have ordered the new sensor if the diagnosis had shown no problem with it.. After I produced the original document from Savannah, he fixed it but it was very aggravating. It took a very long time to get it done because of his mistake. He returned my car to me and went to lunch. An hour later he finally returned. Then another hour or more extra I had to wait. i had a problem with my cell phone while I was there. And the nice lady at the front desk helped me out. Very, very nice lady. More
