Bad service (Don't buy a car for this dealer) Be careful buying a car from this dealer (Rick Case VW). I have leased a few cars in the past from different dealers. This dealer is the worst customer service I have experienced. I have purchased the maintenance plan from this dealer, and the time came to use it for service as simple as oil change. I had to wait was over and hours and a half and they haven't taken the car in. So I asked for a loaner they said they can't give a loaner 'till they take in and see what is needed. But when you lease a car the salesman tells you that if you service takes more than two hours we will provide you with a loaner. Not true, they try to stay away from a loaner as far as possible. I understand you don't have $1000 car for loaner, but then tell your salesman not to promise the loaner. So Iend up taking my car because I had to go back to work, and at a later time I took it to other VW dealer, where I have leased my previous car, they toke care of it. But I had to pay because the maintenance contract is a Rick Case specific it's not a VW USA contract, which was not disclosed to me a time of purchase. To make things worst the next time I am trying to schedule a service call, for oil change, tire rotation, warranty call, and a recall .... I ask the service rep to tell me when can we schedule a time? So I can bring my car in, and get a loaner and go on my way, because obviously the amount of service needed it must take more than two hours. The answer was I can't guaranty anything. I did mention to the service rep. that after the first incident when I had to wait long time, I called VW USA and they called your dealer and your dealership told me that they make sure to take care of me next time and make sure that I don't have to wait. The rep. didn't care, she was like a broken disk... no apology or anything just repeating the same thing: I can't guaranty anything... The reason I came to Rick Case because they advertise a low price. I regret doing that. Because they are the biggest or Busiest VW dealer... they don't care losing a customer or two. Try to ask for a service manager, Service VP / Director. I did multiple time at different times and days, every time the answer was none available. Someone will call you with no returns calls. The last person called me int he previous incident was the service director George. I asked for him, he is no longer there. I guess he got fed up with bad service complaints... More

We had negotiated a deal with Rick Case VW over the phone and confirmed the price with the salesperson in writing via email (she had confirmed everything with her manager before confirming the deal to us in writing). The whole family went to the dealership to buy the car. When we arrived the car was conveniently sold. The floor manger said that he'd try to find the car at another dealer and arrange a trade. Since I'd done my homework I was able to tell him that the dealer in Lakeland had the car and gave him the VIN number. He said that he'd arrange the trade but would not honor the original price quote. After three days of promises that they were trying to get the car, I finally contacted the Lakeland dealer myself on a Saturday morning and purchased the car over the phone. Our family drove to Lakeland and picked up the car. We later found out that a lot of dealerships wouldn't trade with Rick Case. You can guess why. Before going to Rick Case, we were warned by all of the dealers who we spoke with what would happen - they wouldn't honor their promises (even if they were in writing). Unfortunately, we learned the hard way. Don't make the same mistake. (By the way, they also promised the 0% / 60 month no interest financing at the promised price but told us that wouldn't be honored either when we got to the dealership.) More
