From the first phone call , great communication , friendly people , and much help getting what we want . Jordan helped me on the phone first , then turned me over to Joel in sales . Joel proceeded to work on the specific vehicle we wanted on their lot . Joel was outstanding , friendly, patient , and very knowledgeable .then the sales manager phoned me to get through all the numbers for us to be comfortable . Bill Delp was the sales manager , what a great guy ! He was there to listen to what we were looking for in sales , transferring , and out the door pricing . Bill did an incredible job getting us where we liked to be at on pricing for the vehicle we wanted . Omar was great in the closing the documents and getting everything on paper . Omar was very professional and knowledgeable. Everyone we spoke to from sales, financing , parts and the receptionist was friendly, knowledgeable, and positive . I've had ongoing issues with my vehicle since driving it off of Rcik Case Hyundai's lot last year in November. Yesterday I brought my vehicle in for service because my engine was making a loud noise and a f off of Rcik Case Hyundai's lot last year in November. Yesterday I brought my vehicle in for service because my engine was making a loud noise and a few days after, the engine light appeared. The service dept requested I sign an agreement for labor if the problem was not something covered under warranty. I refused because when I purchased the vehicle I was told I would have free maintainence. Additionally, I do not feel I should have to bear the cost of any potential engine repair for an almost brand new vehicle with barely 8000 miles on it. The service dept then informed me there was a recall on my car so they would only perform the recall repair and not the engine diagnosis since I refused to sign the agreement. I contacted the Attorney General's Office and Hyundai Corporate America. I will post an update on the matter. More
There is something for the saying “three times the charm”. This was my third visit to this dealership and on this time my visit when extremely smoothly. I purchased a new 2016 Hyundai Tucson and had an okay experience. Subsequent services visits were sometimes okay, sometimes truly awful. But since this dealership is close to where I live I chose again experience. Subsequent services visits were sometimes okay, sometimes truly awful. But since this dealership is close to where I live I chose again to shop there for a new car. I checked out the 2022 Hyundai Kona, which I didn't care for, and the 2022 Hyundai Tucson, a very nice SUV. Firstly my sales rep (Andrii Pavlenko) was terrific. Very knowledgeable and patient. Rick Case Hyundai would be smart to hold on to this guy. But then it came to talking about price (with the sales manager). That's when it all went horribly wrong. I was first offered an outrageously low value for my Hyundai. Rather than get angry I simply said forget it. But then the sales rep insisted I give a counter offer, which I did. The sales manager returned with a value 80% higher than the first offer. This might sound great but not so when you consider Rick Case Hyundai takes on $4k above the list price for every new Hyundai. They also add some mysterious $2k fee. The sales manager came over, went through the motions ("what can we do to close this deal?") but I simply walked away. Now I know why people refer to dealerships as "stealerships". I bought a new Chevy instead w/o any drama. And I will never, EVER return to Rick Case Hyundai. More
