Purchased a new Ford Explorer at the dealership yesterday 7/25/13. Based on that experience we decided to return to the dealership. Gary once again found the perfect vehicle for our tastes and handled the negotiation on trade value and purchase price in an equitable and fair manner. This time; the new to us sales manager Steve, handled the finer points of the purchase as Mickey was enjoying a day off. Mark the customer services manager produced the icing on the cake thinking out of the box for installation of some after market products we wanted. Rather than waiting for a later date next week to install, he suggested we bring the car back this morning and he would have the courtesy shuttle deliver us round trip to our planned visit to the Wahington Redskins training camp just down the road. Sure enough, we arrived at the dealership this morning, we're shuttled to and from training camp, picked up the Explorer at the agreed upon time and went on with our day! Every employee we have met there in both purchases has made us feel welcome and truly worked to earn our business. Without question we recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle. This was a great experience as a first time car buyer. When I walked in the first day, I was greeted and had a wonderful salesman showing me the car I wanted and then talked about financing. I did not make a decision on Monday and I was not pressured to. When I came back two days later, I was unable to go forth with the offer that was made on Monday. They worked with me on finding a car that not only fit my monthly budget, but also worked with predetermined loan duration. Several options were explored and all of my rookie car buyer questions were answered clearly and politely; no trying to take advantage of a first time buyer at all. All in all, great experience! These people are simply exceptional. Everyone knows their stuff, loves what they do, and seriously care what you think about the job they're doing. I've had 3 different vehicles worked on by these guys. I even had my toyota tacoma worked on here, because I trust them. I'll start with the guys in the shop. Timmy did body work on my 2013 shelby that only a few could do, and even came in on his off time because I gave him a challenge. John also put hood pins in my 2012 shelby that align great, and fit perfect. Steve B. can get a hold of any part imaginable, and knows where you get quality from. He knows the pieces you may forget sometimes too. On my tacoma is a lot of after market pieces, well Wes realigned my solid steel bumper, made more clearance for my tires, and fixed my coil over alignment issues, among other things. Antonio also made my new hood look like it came stock, much appreciated. Chris should just put a name on a chair for me in his office, because I enjoy these people so much. He makes sure things get done on time, and up to higher standards than anyone in richmond. Mention his cars, and you'll understand his passion immediately. Jimmy did all the claim work for my tacoma, and got every piece we needed covered through the insurance while taking pics for me as the truck progressed. Joe knows his stuff, and has an awesome car just ask. Nancy always finds the person I'm looking for, and April helped me save serious money while being awesome. They have a superb crew, I'd trust them with anything I own. Thanks yall. More

Jose and all the staff really go out of there way to make everything go smoothly they went and picked up the car I really wanted from another dealership with out hesitation. Chris Southworth is also the best finance manager I have ever worked with I tell him what kind of payment and interest I want and it's like he snaps his finger and grants me wishes. We just purchased our fourth car in 10 years from Richmond Ford. We traded in one of the cars we had bought used in 2004; we still have the other two. Even though we have been very happy with Richmond Ford, because we thought we could get a better price through the Costco Auto Purchase program, we thought we would go that route instead. Also, we were strongly considering switching to a Honda or Toyota. Nevertheless, for comparative purposes, we checked out the options at Richmond Ford. We never mentioned that we were expecting to go with the Costco program. Jack Conner is the reason we came back to Richmond Ford. Even though the representatives at the other dealerships were helpful and attentive, they could not hold a candle to Jack Conner and the Richmond Ford staff. First, Jack is a gentleman and knows how to treat people. He was not only gracious to me and my son, but also to the staff who worked to prepare our car. Second, Jack made us feel that he genuinely wanted to help us find a car that would make us happy. He worked hard to accomplish that, without being the least bit pushy. Third, he offered a price that was comparable to or better than the prices we were offered through the Costco program. When all else is equal, the person who is a gentleman and knows how to treat people will win out in our book! In addition, Yvette Crews, Darrick Jones, and the staff who prepared our car were all exceptional people and excellent representatives of Richmond Ford. In an age where technology is paramount, what still makes a difference to customers is being treated with respect and feeling that the organization values your business. Sales: Bob Stone greeted us right after we started looking at the used cars on the lot. He was very knowledgeable about Ford products and services. He was very attentive without hovering. He listened to us and was able to match out requests to an available vehicle (Silver Ingot) while honoring the internet price quoted for a different vehicle (Sterling Gray). I feel like he dealt honestly and fairly with us, as well as being very pleasant and personable. Next time I'm in the market for a new or used Ford, I hope he'll be available for the sale. Guest Services: Mark Snider was exceptionally pleasant, outgoing, and friendly. He gave a thorough review of services and convinced us of the benefit of the Auto Armour package. He then was able to schedule quick turn-around time for the required service. I feel like he would do everything in his power to resolve any issues in order to maintain customer satisfaction. Finance: Daryl Edgerton was able to find great financing terms. He worked through 2 or 3 options for payment, until we settled on the best one for us. The mix-up with the license plates was also quickly resolved and I was glad that actual plates could be assigned, instead of 30-day tags. He obviously has a lot of experience and I feel like he worked out the best value possible for us. More
