I bought a car through Richmond Ford but financed through my credit union. Never intended on using Ford's credit. They accidently (new employee) ran a credit check against my credit for yet another vehicle my credit union. Never intended on using Ford's credit. They accidently (new employee) ran a credit check against my credit for yet another vehicle being purchased by another person! I received a letter stating I was turned down (insufficient info) and presented it to Richmond Ford. I was assured this was "just like one of those letters you receive about your car warranty expiring. Just ignore it". Today I received another letter from Ford Motor Credit. Credit score has dropped over 50 points. Do you want someone that careless handling your credit information? More
