Fair Deal I've been looking for a car for my son for several weeks. Yesterday I stopped by Richfield Bloomington Honda to look at a 2003 Mitsubishi Diamante the I've been looking for a car for my son for several weeks. Yesterday I stopped by Richfield Bloomington Honda to look at a 2003 Mitsubishi Diamante they had listed on cars.com. The vehicle was nearly spotless and obviously had been well cared for. Richard Howes was the salesperson who showed me the vehicle. He was very easy going and no xx kind of guy. The price was more than I had budgeted and there was one other vehicle I wanted to check out. Richard wished me well and didn't push the usual high pressure "this one won't be here when you get back" crap. The other vehicle was like every other that I had seen in my price range, nicks, dents, scratches, noises, etc. So I went back to RBH with my son and made an offer that was in my price range. My offer was accepted and I was able to get a very nice first vehicle for my son. Richard was awesome to work with and everyone we met at RBH helped make the overall experience a good one. I thought it would be impossible to get into the car I should have leased in the first place because I still had about two years left on my current lease. He then squeezed every penny out of my Civic and after putting a few thousand down I was able to get into the car I wanted at a price I could afford. Not impressed My husband and I visited this dealership when we were in the market for a minivan. The sales person that we worked with named John was very disorganiz My husband and I visited this dealership when we were in the market for a minivan. The sales person that we worked with named John was very disorganized, we had to walk a block or two just to get to the Odyssey, upon our arrival John discovered that the doors were locked. We all walk back, John stated that he would get keys and then bring the van around, 20 minutes later he returned with keys and we were back out to walk the 2 blocks. He mentioned 5-10x how quickly the Odyssey's sell, I don't know if this was the beginning of his "pressure" strategy or not, we didn't stick around to find out. We purchased a Sienna the same day and have been very happy! More

Of course he provides all the information you need to make a thoughtful decision and in doing so NEVER applies any pressure or steers you in to purchase before you're ready. Once he makes the sale he follows up and in this case offered to meet me anywhere convenient to trade titles, keys, etc. Overall a pleasant and rewarding transaction that left me knowing that I had obtained a super deal and would be taken care of very well in the future.
