I had shopped a couple of other dealerships along with RBHonda. I could not been more disappointed in the way that I was treated at Walser Honda after making my last two purchases there. Since those purchases, my previous sales person had moved on and I was looking for a new sales person to purchase future Honda vehicles from. I was not interested in making a purchase for another month or so and when I spoke with Jeremy, he was creative with the first payment being paid and suggested that I could buy now and have my first payment in 75 days. This 'craftiness' is what a salesmen is supposed to have. I immediately took to Jeremy as a front runner for our new purchase. I had been given one trade-in value from one dealership and stopped in on Monday the 9th to meet Jeremy and get a trade-in value. We test drove the vehicle that I was looking at and sat down to talk specifics. Jeremy was persistent (as he should be), and asked what could be done to prevent my visit to Inver Grove Honda the following day. We agreed on a new trade in value and sealed the deal. I went to visit with Heidi about the financing and post sale elections. I was very interested in the warranty but I felt that the price was too high compared to what I had seen from other dealerships. Heidi worked with me into the next day to come to an agreement on a price and was a champion of the entire process. Jeremy had left the paperwork waiting at the shop on Monday night and by the time he came in later in the morning on Tuesday, our Odyssey was almost ready. We had planned to have it delivered on Wednesday or come and get it on Thursday. To our surprise, he was able to deliver at 1pm on Tuesday afternoon. My wife and I were able to sign all of the documents at our kitchen table and Jeremy drove away with our old Odyssey. I have since had some post sale questions including accessories purchases and Jeremy has been reachable via phone and text which is extremely convenient. When I replace my Accord, I hope that I can work with this same team at RBHonda. Thank you for your wonderful service! More
I rate my experience very highly, as everyone was very professional and friendly. But one small thing was disappointing...I left the lot with less than 1/4 tank of gas in the vehicle. The reasoning for the primary rating of "good" would be because we did receive adequate service but nothing out of the ordinary... or anything "above and beyond." We asked what kind of extra perks could be thrown on and nothing was offered. The people who referred us to RB Honda said to ask about an oil change card (that would give 5 or so free oil changes) and we were told that the first oil change is free. That basically is standard for any new car purchase. Even an upgrade to all-weather floor mats would have been an added perk. Fred was very friendly. He offered our young son his banana while we filled out the paperwork so that was rather impressive. It is the little things that stick out so yes, we received good service but nothing that would make us tell all our friends that this is the place to definitely go to in order to purchase a new vehicle. More
