Fred recently called me to check in regarding my leased Accord. I stopped by and after going through some different options we decided it was best to upgrade to a 2012. He is very friendly and easy to deal with. Fred always goes the extra mile for his client's. I strongly recommend stopping by and asking for Fred when looking for a new Honda! While cleaning out my car Kevin came out and introduced himself to me as well. We spent about 10 minutes chatting in the parking lot. I really appreciate the help gentlemen. I have been a service customer of Richfield Bloomington Honda for almost 10 years. I'm a huge fan of Honda and a huge fan of Richfield Bloomington Honda. The service department has always been straightforward and fair in my experience. While waiting during an oil change, I wandered into the showroom to look at the new Hondas. Brook Harris approached me and we started talking about the new CR-V. He took me on a test drive and gave me a quote. I told him that I wasn't ready to buy quite yet, but I'd think about it. He didn't pressure me and didn't try to steer me toward a more expensive vehicle, which I truly appreciated. Brook called me once or twice during the next couple of months just to check in, but again didn't pressure me to make a decision. Last week, we started having some issues with our non-Honda vehicle, so we decided it was time to buy another Honda. I contacted Brook and told him we were ready, he gave me a price and I went to a couple of other dealers for comparisons. Brook beat the best dealer price I was able to get elsewhere and beat the financing that was offered by my credit union. It was really a relief that he was able to beat the prices, because I really love the service department there. Brook was really great to work with. He answered all of our questions and gave us great information on the vehicle. He was working with some other people at the same time we were filling out the paperwork, but he never made us feel like he wasn't interested in us now that the deal was done. I would definitely recommend Honda, Richfield-Bloomington Honda and Brook Harris. I was very happy with the experience as a whole, but I'd like to note one thing. I was frustrated with the pressure that was put on us by the finance person to buy an extended warranty. I listened to the explanation and respectfully declined the additional coverage. The gentlemen kept pushing it and I continued to say no. I realize that's part of his job, but his whole demeanor toward me seemed to change once I said no to the extended warranty. I think it could have been handled more professionally. More
I usually dread the process of buying a new car, but Fred Hopps is the kind of person who puts you at ease. I had a great experience from the time I called him to the time I picked up the vehicle. I was so impressed with the professionalism of both Fred and the dealership in general. Their finance team was fast and efficient, and got me out of there in record time. I think it was just over an hour from my test drive to the time I left with my new Honda. When I left I had forgotten some items at the dealership and Fred drove over to a local restaurant to find me and return the items. Talk about going the extra mile! It's so refreshing to have a good experience like that, and I would definitely recommend Fred to any friends or neighbors thinking about buying a Honda. Fred contacted me within 12 hours after I completed an online price quote on a Honda Odyssey. Though it was farther from our home than 2 other Honda dealers, I would do it all over again. Fred was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, honest, and, most of all, truly cared about getting me the best price for everything I wanted in our new Odyssey. He had a great sense of humor, which is probably why I enjoyed the whole experience. Yes, I actually enjoyed this process. He was incredibly honest and showed me how to use everything in the Odyssey. He gave me the best prices for everything, meeting my every request and even drove the car up to me after they finished all the after-market items. I have already HIGHLY recommended Fred and Richfield Bloomington Honda to everyone I know. He will take care of and look out for you (a different experience than all but 1 of the other Honda and Chrysler dealers we visited). I felt like I had to take a shower after dealing with some of them. Fred (and everyone there) was so kind and honest, an experience that is rare for a new car purchase. Overall, I had an excellent experience. I worked with two sales associates and a sales manager. On May 11th, I came into RB Honda and was immediately greeted by Garrett. I was showed the ins and outs on several Odysseys. I knew exactly what I was looking for but was only "shopping" at the time. On May 16th, I decided to come back to RB Honda simply by chance. At that point, I knew exactly what I wanted and was between three Odysseys. That's when I met Paul and he immediately made me feel welcome and got me into the vehicle of my choice. During this time, Paul listened to my many questions and answered all of them to my satisfaction. I was concerned about a few blemishes and missing/broken items. All of those issues were addressed and them some. Let me also state that I checked out several area competitors. My biggest surprise is that in many cases, a sales associate wasn't there to greet me at the door. I'm a serious shopper and don't have a lot of time to waste. I don't appreciate having to hunt around a sales floor to find someone to give my hard earned away to. RB Honda was the exception to this. The other thing that I found troubling at other dealers was their lack of flexibility. Paul was able to work with the service department to repair a vent, replace a light bulb, locate an extra set of keys, locate a missing seat, buff out a rough spot on the hood, and detail the vehicle. Every place else said what you see is what you get. If I'm spending over $20k on a vehicle, I should at least get a second key. Paul went above and beyond. He made it sound simple which put any concerns I had at ease. Again, everything was positive. Price is obviously very important and I'm happy with the numbers and hopefully it worked well for RB Honda. I realize we all need to make money in order to keep the doors open. The team at RB Honda is an outstanding job! More
I was very pleased with the dealer and with my purchasing experience. I did most of my reasearch on the internet and I knew the type of car I was looking for, it was just a matter of finding the right comban experience. I used carsoup.com and I found that RB had very fair prices; some well below that of similar cars. Paul was very friendly and helpful. And best of all, I LOVE my car!! More
