Richard's was a pleasure to business with. Being a woman and buying a car isn't always the best experience, but dealing with Richie, was a pleasure. Negative Experience I was interested in a 2008 Audi A4 Negative Experience I was interested in a 2008 Audi A4 listed by Richards Motor Cars in Malden MA and called the dealer late Friday afternoon to veri Negative Experience I was interested in a 2008 Audi A4 listed by Richards Motor Cars in Malden MA and called the dealer late Friday afternoon to verify that it was still available and to schedule a test drive early Sat. morning. I spoke to Rich Fonzi who seemed aloof, but confirmed the car was available and set up an appointment for the next day between 0930 and 1000. I drove 1.5 hours and arrived at dealer at 1000. I was greeted by Rich, who said he would get the keys and bring the car out front. After about 15 minutes of searching and not finding the keys he made a phone call and told me that the car was brought into an Audi dealer for service earlier in the morning and it would not be back that day. He offered no other details. I mentioned that I specifically called the previous afternoon to insure the car would be available. He didn’t seem to care. There were no other customers in the showroom when I arrived so there’s no excuse for him not looking for the car when he arrived at 0900. Had he been on top of the situation and known the car left the lot in the morning, he could have called me and I would have returned home after only 30-40 minutes of driving. Had he done that and given me an explanation on the nature of the service call the car needed, there was a good chance I would have gone back the following Sat. or gone back to view other cars in the future had this particular car been sold. I told him I would not be coming back. His only response was, “I know”. I lost several hours of my time. They lost a serious buyer. More
They waste your time before low balling you for any trade in. Expect to get the LOWEST price for your trade in here. They use CARCHEX which costs YOU $24.95 CARFAX is FREE Lies: 1. They said my car had too much paint work - which has never been in an accident or been repainted. Maybe they'd know that if they used CARFAX 2. The dealer told me that the previous owner was a smoker but rarely smoked in the car. On the web listing it states that the previous owner was a nonsmoker. 3. Not listed in the pricing for every car is a extra fee of $435 for "holding the car"? More

Salesman was sarcastic and flip and apparently did not want to sell a car or make any money. They apparently have enough business and do not need new customers. He demonstrated that he was uninterested in learning or seeking answers to questions asked. Would not even consider purchasing a vehicle there again and feel that there are many others that would like to take my money and be more than willing to "sell" me a car. More
I bought a 2007 Audi A4 from them. Their website is great, easy to use (in fact, the employees use it when customers come into the showroom) and is kept very up-to-date. The price on the sticker is the price they charge, don't bother haggling with them on it. Usually, there's no reason to haggle anyways as the prices were lower for the quality of the cars than I had seen in the rest of the Boston general area. There were a few hiccups in the process (I took the subway out to Malden to get the car, and when I got there they told me they didn't have the title yet. When i did pick up the car, they did not have the navigation DVD). But the whole time they were very gracious, and I expect a big part of the problem is that I bought the car from them less than 6 hours after it had been delivered to them from auction. Also, the extended warranties they offer are very competitive with any third party offer I could find. More
