Great experience: From email to signing I was in the market for CPO BMW and it was slim pickings, in fact many were 500+ miles away. However I stumbled on Richards Motorcars via Cars.com, re I was in the market for CPO BMW and it was slim pickings, in fact many were 500+ miles away. However I stumbled on Richards Motorcars via Cars.com, realized they had the EXACT car/model/features/age I was after. I dropped a quick note and within a few hours got an initial response from Nick. I felt no pressure in the communications and he answered all of my initial questions. I decided to take the ride out to the dealer (about an hour away), saw the car in person, looked it over and spoke with Nick in person. I was still looking around so I decided to think it over. A few hours later I called to leave a deposit, got the initial paperwork signed and began the process.. which normally is a rough time. However... after all the legal stuff, paperwork, plates and dealer preparation I picked the car up without fuss, no dealer-add-ons, they even let me finalize the deal with the finance department via phone, so really there is NO pressure to buy. I have to say, in all it was a great experience, the price was right, Nick was great to work with.. and if i'm in the market again i'll give the boys over at Richards Motorcars a call! Side note: When I went to pick up the car I met the dealership owner, great guy.. also very knowledgable and professional. More

I have brought many vehicles in my life time, but I must say Richards Motorcars is by far my best dealer experience. I had a pleasant experience dealing with Richard's and in particular Nick, the internet sales manager. I also coordinated my financing through RM and was very surprised that they could secure me a ra and in particular Nick, the internet sales manager. I also coordinated my financing through RM and was very surprised that they could secure me a rate that was actually better than my own credit union whom I've financed with in the past. Overall, the entire buying experience was pretty painless. I was in the market for a 2010-2011 BMW 328i xdrive sedan and they had plenty to choose from. I think I went back three times before pulling the trigger on a silver 2011 with 21k miles in excellent condition and Nick was always very knowledgeable and attentive allowing me several test drives in this vehicle as well as other models. My only issue came after purchase when I scheduled my first no-cost maintenance appointment at BMW. They informed me the vehicle had an open recall (not a safety issue). Still, this was the first I had heard of it. BMW also informed me of the expiration date of the maintenance program which was six months LESS than what Nick had quoted me. I have to say that I do feel slightly short-changed to that end because having the maintenance program for 12 months as opposed to 18 months might have been a deciding factor in choosing this vehicle. I most likely would have still purchased from RM but I may have gone with a different vehicle as I tend to place a high value the maintenance program. These are the reasons preventing me from rating RM as "great" across the board. However, to give credit where credit is due, I would certainly purchase another vehicle from Nick and RM as the condition of their inventory and pricing are THAT good. More

Richards Motorcars (in particular Joe) went above and beyond all of my expectations! I will make an attempt to purchase from them again in the future...even though I live in Atlanta. They are worth the 3 hour flight, or the 1100 mile drive. The service after the sale amazed me. I have been in the auto industry...so I know the "tricks." They pulled no "tricks" and played no games. Everything Joe said he would do...he did. There was an issue with the tires...to make a long story short, Joe shipped me new tires!...WOW. The fact that I live over 1100 miles away, and Joe still provided me with outstanding service (as if I were a local repeat customer) definitively displays his honesty and integrity. I can't say enough about my experience with Joe and Richards Motorcars. If you are a potential customer reading this review...call Joe if you want a straight forward, honest salesperson. I have never experienced a better buying situation than here at Richard's. The process was smooth and low pressure. Overall this is a well run operation and when Richard stood behind the vehicle after my purchase to fix a paint issue - it was done extremely well. The most important aspect of the purchase, Joe said A, B, and C would be taken care of when we picked up the vehicle and all outstanding issues were, in deed, handled upon our arrival for pick up.
