We were shopping for a good used Subaru Forester and bought one from Lucas. My salesman was Artie Beyer, and I found him to be intelligent, good-natured, and responsive. I was especially impressed with his knowledge of the car. He pointed out specs, features, explained the unique characteristics of the Forester, and helped us operate controls that were unfamiliar to us, especially the shift into manual mode. When we got serious about buying, he called in his manager, George. I thought, okay here comes the hammer. I was pleasantly surprised to find George as friendly and responsive as Artie.
