Hi John. We are disappointed to hear that you were unhappy with your experience at our dealership. We reviewed the phone calls that transpired prior to your visit, and we verified that the salesperson did not provide any assurances on the trade value of your vehicle. With the understanding that you were coming from quite a distance away, our salesperson asked you about your intentions in the event that the trade price did not turn out as you expected. You indicated that you were basing your anticipated trade value off of Kelly Blue Book’s low end value, and you believed you would receive that as a minimum. Thus, you would continue with the process at our dealership. We did not guarantee a KBB value over the phone, and we indicated that we would still need to see the vehicle before giving you a number on your trade. We regret that your experience was not as you anticipated. At Richard Chevrolet, customer satisfaction is our number one priority. We apologize if there was any misunderstanding that lead to your dissatisfaction.
