Hassle free experience Purchasing this vehicle was hassle free. I let Amado know the vehicle I was interested in, unfortunately there was some mechanical issues with that on Purchasing this vehicle was hassle free. An honest place to do business “Used car salesmen are the most honest people in the world”! When has ANYONE uttered those words?? Well earlier this month my youngest daughter and “Used car salesmen are the most honest people in the world”! When has ANYONE uttered those words?? Well earlier this month my youngest daughter and I embarked on looking for her first car. My four children had driven a 2006 Jeep Liberty passed down from one to another for almost the last 10 years, so it was another used Jeep Liberty that we went hunting for. We found the “perfect” 2008 Jeep Liberty Sport via online search at Richard Catena Auto Wholesalers in Teterboro. The same day we took it for a test drive we purchased the car. Of course my daughter was over the top with her first car, but unfortunately two days later the check engine light came on. Diagnosis was the catalytic converter. I called our salesman John Papas and he said bring it back to have his guys check it out. A few days later, they had the whole catalytic system replaced at no cost. Amazing!! Then a week later while in a rain storm, the roof started leaking! Because their cars are stored in a warehouse there was no way they could have known. Once again I called John and he said bring it in. A few days later he had the roof sealed and the entire headliner replaced. Remember that as a wholesaler we purchased the car “as is”. There was no obligation for them to fix anything. But at Richard Catena the customer truly does matter. The Jeep is now in “perfect” condition for a 2008. We are extremely happy with the vehicle and even more ecstatic that we now know of an honest, reputable car dealership that I would not hesitate to do business with again. I can’t express enough my thanks to John and Richard Catena for their superb treatment of us as valued customers! More
