After a long drive home, I was comfortable that we had made the right choice. A more in-depth inspection once home confirmed that we bought the vehicle as it was advertised. Very happy with it. What impressed me more was the salesman, Chris Gomez. After a long day of travel, Chris greeted me and we went immediately to the vehicle for a quick evaluation and test drive. Back at the dealership, Chris offered me a drink while he put together the preliminary paperwork. Because it was late in the day, we were not able to complete the transaction. I had flown in to buy the vehicle, so knowing I did not have a vehicle of my own, Chris offered to take me to a local hotel and to pick me up the next morning. We finalized the documents the next day and I was on my way. Back home, as we awaited the title, Chris maintained constant contact, sending updates and information as he received it, and followed that up with a photo of the envelope with tracking number. The title arrived today. I could not be happier with the entire transaction and would suggest to anyone considering doing business with this dealership to do so. Chris was professional, courteous, and very easy to work with. What more could you ask? More

Leap of Faith I took a huge leap of faith and flew to Teterboro, NJ on a Saturday to look at a hard-to-find vehicle advertised by Richard Catena Auto Wholesalers. M I took a huge leap of faith and flew to Teterboro, NJ on a Saturday to look at a hard-to-find vehicle advertised by Richard Catena Auto Wholesalers. My intent was to purchase the car and drive it back to Louisville that day if if I liked it. My salesman, Vinny, worked to make the purchase as easy as possible. It was an extremely busy day with customers filling the small office. Despite a bit of chaos with the growing number of customers, Vinny tended to my concerns, ensuring the vehicle's oil was changed and a couple of other minor issues were checked by the on-duty mechanic. The whole process took a couple hours longer than I had planned, but I purchased the vehicle and drove it back to Louisville that night. Within two weeks, Vinny sent me the title and floor mats that had been ordered. His service didn't end there. When I went to register the car in Louisville, I was told KY required a special document that had to be signed and notarized by the dealership. Three week's after the purchase, I called Vinny's cell phone while he was on vacation and he answered and quickly put me in touch with his partner, William Walsh, who got the required KY paperwork faxed, signed, notarized and returned within 45 minutes. Bottom line: This KY boy flew into Jersey to buy a used car with no idea what to expect. Honestly, it was a bit of a chaotic experience because it was a very busy Saturday. Even so, Vinny and the crew at Richard Catena delivered on their promises related to the car, and weeks after the sale, they still went out of their way to help me with the special paperwork needed by KY. Hopefully you won't have to get on a plane and fly to NJ to buy a car, but if if you do, you can take comfort in knowing that they will follow through with their promises and you will also leave as a satisfied customer of Riachard Catena Auto Wholesalers. Good Dealership - Would Recommend and Use Again I had a good experience with the dealership. The service people were courteous and knowledgeable. 2 things to keep in mind: 1) They do not neg I had a good experience with the dealership. I even went with a friend that's a wholesaler who had worked with Richard Catena in the past and they wouldn't budge; 2) The cars are sold AS IS which is fine except I didn't check the mileage on the car. I checked everything but I overlooked that and the car had 4000 more miles on it than was listed in the ad. I called after getting home and was told that the building manager had been driving it. They wouldn't do anything about it because the car is sold "as is" and it had the miles on it when I test drove it a couple of days earlier. It was a bit frustrating but I think it was understandable. So check the car carefully. The car is wonderful. No issues and the 4000 extra miles didn't change my mind about it. The price would have probably been the same even if it was listed that way originally. The sales people are courteous, respectful and helpful. They were much nicer than any dealers I had dealt with previously who all laughed at me for looking for a lower priced and higher mileage car. But as a wholesaler, that's what this dealer sells so it was amazing to walk in and see so many cars available in my price range. More
