Ok experence Overall my experience was just OK. My wife wanted a convertible BMW, manual shift w/nav system, and black interior. Turns out this combination is ve Overall my experience was just OK. My wife wanted a convertible BMW, manual shift w/nav system, and black interior. Turns out this combination is very uncommon, and we were only able to find one reasonably priced, and it was at this dealership. They were very accommodating in letting me take the car for a test and open with when I came, however when it came to talk price, they were unwilling to negotiate at all. In addition they added $500 to the price listed on autotrader/cargurus. This put the price right at the blue book value, so it seemed like it was still a decent deal, but left a bad taste. After some back and fourth on the phone I agreed to take it, and they took my deposit over the phone. The place is 2 hours from my home, and I had a busy weekend planned so I wanted to come down about a week later, and they didn't want to allow that. They wanted me to come get it in 5 days. I just couldn't make it down there within 5 days so they relented and waited, so it worked out, but again a bad taste. When we drove down to buy it, it was a cash deal so they said it would be fast, like 15min, but it wound up taking over an hour. We waited around about 45min after the paperwork so that they could "fill it up", it was a little frustrating that it took that long, and I was wondering why they waited till I got there, but no big deal. Well when we finally got the car it had a little less than 1/4 tank in it. I was put off by them using the words "fill it up" several times, when they meant 1/4 tank. Then they took a while to fill up the tires with air. Again nothing major, but a bad taste, should have been done before I got there. We had a temp registration for the car and they said they'd send us the title when it came in, but sure enough they didn't sent anything till I emailed over two weeks later, at which point they mailed it, and we finally got it the day after the temp tag expired. That's pretty much the whole experience. Overall we like the car, and the experience was OK. If I was looking for a specific car in the future and they had it, I'd probably buy from them again, but I wouldn't be excited about it. More
