I had no contact with Dan Tobin prior to my first visit in December 2010. I called the dealership prior to my visit and talked to Mark Bowman. I was looking for a specific car with specific equipment. Mark was friendly, professional and attentive. He answered my questions, checked inventory and told me he thought the dealership had a few cars that might meet my specification. I arrived at the dealership within an hour of my phone call with Mark. After short introduction and fact finding discussion, we went out on the lot to look at cars that met may specs. We found a car and sat down to work out the details. Mark moved through the process quickly and efficiently. The only issue was the value of my trade. He introduced me to his manager and his trade-in guy. They were both professional and listened to my view of the value of the trade-in. After a short discussion, we arrived at a mutually acceptable trade-in value (although I think the dealership ended up with the better side of that part of the deal). The balance of the process went well. I think I left the dealership in my new car about 3 hours after I arrived at the dealership. Overall, I think Mark is an excellent representative of the dealership and the balance of the team did a fine job. I've owned the car for about 2 months now. Based on my experience to date, I would recommend the dealership and strongly recommend Mark Bowman as a sales representative. Having said all of the good things above, the only room for improvement that I can recommend based on my experience is that they could have spent a bit more time on delivery of the car. The dealership was very busy that day so I think I had about 5 minutes or less the operation of the many components in the car. I've take deliveries on other cars that have lasted over an hour. That is way too much, but I was quite sure how to turn the Navigation off and as I was pulling out of the dealership it was directing me to some local restaurant. It took a few minutes for me to figure out how to silence the voice that was telling me I was going the wrong way. In end, learning most of that stuff on your own is probably better because you won't remember most of what is explained to you during the delivery process. More
I bought my first car at Dan Tobin in 2003 and have continued to get my car serviced there since. I am now looking for a new vehicle and will not even hesitate to buy another one here. I get oil changes and vehicle repairs in the service department. I always ask for Howard Gorman as he takes great care of my car and works around my schedule. He went ou of his way to look for a new CD player for my car and when I told him I may not need one any longer due to looking for a new car, his response was, "I am here for you, no problem." He is always friendly and so helpful as is the rest of the service department. I am treated kindly and respectfully each and every time I am there:) More

I did see the car on your lot that I liked so, I came home and got on your website. The next day was Sunday, and someone gave me Tate Cline name he was very helpful. I came up to check out the 2011 LaCrosse, but when I drove the Lucerne we new that was the better car for us. The best buying of a new car I have every experienced. Go Tate! Great Job! This is the third vehicle we have purchased from Dan Tobin dealership. We have always had excellent experiences with the sales department. Tate Cline was our car sales representative for our recent purchase/lease of the Buick Regal and he did an excellent job. He worked very hard to find the car we were interested in and always kept us informed of the progress. He was always accessible by phone and email for questions and updates. He was also friendly, enthusiastic, curteous and knowledgable. When we picked up the car, it was ready, looked awesome, and he thoroughly explained everything about the car and answered our questions. We have worked with Brad Fazenbaker in the finance department for our previous purchase, and he has been awesome. He is straight forward and honest and extremely easy to work with. The overall experience would have been great, except one day after I brought the car home it would not start. The radio had apparently not shut off and drained the battery. I had to take the car back and get a rental car, which was a little inconvenient. However, the dealership did fix the problem quickly, which I was happy with. I rated price "good" because I don't know enough about car sales to know if I got a really great deal. I can only assume it was a pretty good price. More
