I spent 30 minutes on the lot looking at two particular trucks and waiting for a salesman to come outside. I intended to purchase one of the two trucks today. Which one depended on the answer to a minor question I had about equipment that wasn't reflected on the sticker. When no salesperson was to be found outside, I went into the showroom. The receptionist at the desk immediately in front of the entry doors didn't even acknowledge that I'd walked in the door. I guess that text she received on her cell phone was far more important than a customer? I stood by her desk for a moment because I didn't want to interrupt her. She continued to ignore me (I WAS going to ask her if she could direct me to a salesman), so I walked over to a black Sierra 1500 that was in the showroom. Nobody seemed to care that I was standing there reading the stickers all over it and fiddling with all of the bells and whistles. I walked around the showroom looking at various promotional materials. I then went back to that pretty black Sierra hoping that my sustained interest in it would draw some attention! I made myself quite comfortable in the passenger's seat. Several unoccupied salesman who were meandering around the showroom looked at me but not one of them said hello or bothered to ask if I needed assistance. Yep. 30 minutes INSIDE the showroom and not one person could be bothered to assist me. Has that EVER happened at any car dealership? Usually the sales staff does everything but xxxxxx you when you step foot on the property regardless of your purpose for being there! Actually making it that far, INSIDE the showroom unmolested, is unreal! I went back outside in the freezing cold to the two trucks that I was trying to decide between hoping to be able to figure out the answer to the equipment question myself. I waited for another 30 minutes, commiserated with another perturbed potential customer about the complete lack of service at the dealership, watched 2 employees scream obscenities at each other on the sales lot and then finally decided to leave with my cash still in my wallet. Yeah...it was gonna be a cash deal, y'all! I had my generous offer ready and the cash to drive off of the lot today. No haggling, no trade-in, no credit reports, no loan apps, no financing nightmares...nadda! I was a salesman's dream customer! Quick, painless sale on the board and a nice commission in the pocket. Alas, I'll not make the 3 hour round trip to Dan Tobin again. Another more friendly and interested sales person at another GMC dealership can do a locate and dealer trade for the truck I want. I will have to wait a little longer to get it but I'll pay that sales person a little "extra" just because Dan Tobin GMC's sales staff totally dropped the ball. More
Worst and I mean WORST experience overall so far. Plan on contacting corporate and the BBB about this place. Save your time and money, do not go here! They will give you ZERO of your time once you have committed to a car, they will treat you like crap once you've committed to their car and most of all, they will withhold your PROPERTY FOR NO REASON. There are plenty of Buick/GMC dealers out there that will not treat you like dirt. More

The difference in experience from the previous dealership to our experience with Dan Tobin Buick GMC could not be more of a contrast. We were greeted in the parking lot by Mark, Andy - the manager came over to introduce himself and several other members of the team stopped by throughout the process to say hi. Mark Bowman walked us through the whole process and took our feedback into consideration as he showed us several options on the Terrain. We never felt pressured and are 100% satisfied. We have already recommended this dealership to several of our friends and our parents. Thanks for making our car buying experience so easy. More

Dan Tobin Buick-GMC is no exception. The sales staff, especially (Pre-Owned) Internet Sales Manager, Bryan Helfrich, were the best I have EVER experienced. I have purchased many vehicles at many different locations in many states, and the Dan Tobin experience was five-star all the way! I found what I was looking for and even though it was not the most expensive vehicle on the lot, I was treated as though I had just bought ten of them! I WILL return to Dan Tobin for my next vehicle!
