Best purchasing experience EVER! My experience was wonderful. The particular car I was looking for was not easy to find and I had been searching locally for months on line. I contacted them when I saw it on their website and they had it ready for me when I arrived to see it. I look forward to continuing my relationship with Reydel's service department for my vehicles maintenance. More

I dig this place I originally purchased my GTI at Shrewsbury VW and had it serviced there (nothing against them here at all). However, with my commute into NYC and wit I originally purchased my GTI at Shrewsbury VW and had it serviced there (nothing against them here at all). However, with my commute into NYC and with where my wife works now in Metropark area, I recently started taking my car to Reydel for its services to be done since it is pretty conveniently located for us. This particular time was my 2nd visit on getting my car serviced here and this one was an even better experience than the first. Both times I ended up dealing with a Service Consultant named, Fred. So far, he seems like a straight shooter to me with a good amount of knowledge on VW's. Most importantly, I do not feel like im being told useless things that "should" get done to my car that aren't really needed at all. Especially when I thought my brakes were in need of getting done and he had things checked and confirmed that all was fine as is. You know there are plenty of places out there that would have taken advantage of a situation like that; and I respect that kind of service. Honesty is something hard to find in anyone, nowadays; let alone in an area of service providers. Not to mention, with this 2nd service visit, my car was actually done before I even got into my office in NYC. The Dealership and Service Center are definitely nice on the eyes and also clean to match. Price-wise, I believe they are very fair compared to any other dealership that I've been to; VW or other. All in all, I wish I started taking my car here sooner and would recommend anyone to utilize Reydel's friendly, honest and quick service. More
Volkswagen Family I have been a member of the Reydel Volkwagen family since 2008 and have NEVER had a bad experience. From the sales department to the service departmen I have been a member of the Reydel Volkwagen family since 2008 and have NEVER had a bad experience. From the sales department to the service department the teams there are knowledgeable, competent, friendly, and professional. Recently I found out I was eligible for the Lease Pull Ahead Program and called right away. Rich Freeman greeted me and we set up an appointment. From the moment I sat down with him I knew I was in good hands. I learned he is the assistant business manager as well as a sales and leasing consultant so I felt confident I was working with the right person. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable and made the process of leasing my new car seem effortless to me. All the deals he proposed were reasonable and we worked together to settle on what was fair. He also was able to acquire the EXACT car I wanted which obviously made me very happy! I highly suggest Reydel Volkswagen if you are thinking of getting into the Volkswagen family. And when you choose Reydel Volkswagen, definitely work with Rich Freeman! More

From the moment I sent in my first email asking info on my now new Jetta it has been the best car buying experience of my life so far. My local dealership wanted to charge me extra for a ridiculous doc my now new Jetta it has been the best car buying experience of my life so far. My local dealership wanted to charge me extra for a ridiculous doc fee, destination, etch, and believe it or not even $95 to wash car before they deliver it. LOL. Think of it. They charge customers to wash the cars. Huh??? Really??? Reydel was FIRST CLASS. Upfront information and no surprises. No extra stupid fees and above all no charges to wash my new car. I will send allot of business their way. Thank You Reydel VW of Edison More
I had a NIGHTMARE experience dealing with Reydel Volkswagen, and I highly suggest that people AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS. Reydel's lack of competence and integrity run from its service depa Volkswagen, and I highly suggest that people AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS. Reydel's lack of competence and integrity run from its service department all the way to its owner, Jim Reydel. Reydel Volkswagen simply does not care about its customers. My brand new car was damaged in New Jersey, and it was towed to Reydel. I instructed Reydel's service department not to work on my car until I called them back and authorized the work. They disregarded my request and worked on the car without my permission. Reydel's workmanship was so poor, that the car was returned to me in worse condition than when I left it with Reydel. When the car was returned to me, it was scratched and badly damaged. My car had no fuel in it and nearly every single warning light was lit up. Reydel's service department did not even bother to check these issues before returning the car to me. I immediately had to have my car towed to a legitimate Volkswagen dealership where my car remained for several weeks while this legitimate dealership was trying to identity and repair the damage exacerbated by Reydel. I called Reydel to discuss the issue, and the service department lied to me about the work its personnel performed on the car. For instance, Reydel told me that they wiped out my fuel tank with a rag, which I later learned was impossible given that the fuel tank is an enclosed unit. When I spoke to Jim Reydel (who is the owner of the dealership) and explained the problem I had with his service department, he scoffed at me and began shouting at me. He later backed off and changed his tone. He informed me that, due to my trouble, Reydel would pay to have my car detailed. That is all he offered to do. However, he never even sent the check he promised, and ignored my efforts to follow up on the whereabouts of the check. I highly recommend that people avoid Reydel Volkswagen at all costs. More
