I had a Jeep Liberty that was plagued with problems from the day we purchased it. I had a Lithia warranty so I took it to the only Lithia dealer around which was here in Renton. I brought the vehicle back f the day we purchased it. I had a Lithia warranty so I took it to the only Lithia dealer around which was here in Renton. I brought the vehicle back for the same issue about 15 times and left it for several days only to be told each time there is nothing they can do and its just the way Jeeps are made. I received a survey which I filled out in a negative way due to the poor service. I just decided to live with the issues and the noise it was making until it started to get worse so I brought it back again but this time I also paid to have the preventative maintenance done hoping they would look closer at the issues. My wife brought the car in and we were dealing with Janell the last few times but on this recent visit she dropped the car off with my two kids and the dealer refused to provide us with a loaner car or shuttle her and the kids back home because we were too far away. Janell actually told us that she wasnt going to give us a rental (which was supposed to be covered under our extended warranty) because we had filled out a negative survey against them and it really hurt... I was blown away at the audacity... To top it off the service we paid for included new wiper blades that they refused to replace saying that our current blades were just fine (I PAID FOR IT IN MY SERVICE!!!). I was way beyond frustrated so we took our car and I bought replacement blades on my own. This service department has no idea what customer service is and their answer when they cant fix a problem is to have a technician come out and tell you Jeep Liberty's are made with cheap parts and this is just how some turn out... I will never buy a Jeep again or ever deal with Lithia again due to this extremely poor service offered by this dealer. I followed up with a direct complaint to Lithia Jeep / Chrysler Corporate and the person listened to my story and said they would follow up at which point they never did. Each time I called back I was sent to the voicemail of my representative and they never called back. I have since traded my old Jeep in and moved on to a new dealer in the area who is MUCH better and knows what customer service is. Shame on Lithia Renton for allowing an employee to harass a customer because they couldnt deliver sound customer service and support this complete and total disregard for consumers trying to keep their brand alive.
