As I left th After experiencing a lengthy and difficult afternoon at a competitor's dealership, I thought selling a car was just going to be painful. As I left the competitor's dealership, the Reno Tahoe Auto Group billboard caught my eye. They advertised they would beat any written offer by $300. I pulled over, called Reno Tahoe, and they asked me to come down to the dealership. As requested, I arrived, but only had an email estimate for the value of my car; it would be another week before I could devote time to selling the car again. Mel gave me her card, told me she would be out of town in the coming week, but that I could call her as soon as I had the written estimate. One week later, I called Mel, she was at the airport. She closed the deal over the phone, then asked me to go the dealership and ask for Lisa. Upon arrival, Lisa was busy, but Jessica promptly stepped in and took care of the paperwork. My credit union, GNCU, is notorious for being slow. Jessica made sure that I spent as little time as possible waiting for GNCU, then promptly issued me a check for $300 over the written offer. NO HASSLE, NO ABSURD QUESTIONS, NO WASTING TIME - Jessica just took care of business. I wasn't even there an hour. I am still smiling at how respectfully I was treated and how seamless the process was. As I was leaving, I checked out the numerous beautiful cars on the lot at Reno Tahoe Auto Group. I vowed to keep an eye on the cars displayed there. They are all extremely well kept and carry low miles. This is the place to look for a used car! In closing, if you need to sell a car, get the written estimate first (not an email notification), then head straight over to Mel and her team. It's quick, simple, and EASY. Don't deal with corporate entities who hire people who don't care and don't know the business. Work with local people who treat you fairly and honestly. I'll return to Reno Tahoe every time.
