My experiences at Reliable Chevy has not been the best. It started when I traded in my Toyota for a diesel Colorado (2017 with <20,000 miles). After getting the truck I had a check engine light come on the first night, not a big deal I just took it in and they fixed it. I was also reassured that there were no recalls on the Colorado but that was also not correct (2 recalls needed to be addressed). I also brought it to their attention that the brakes were making a noise and I would like that corrected (I addressed this also at the time of the test drive and during the paperwork for purchase). It took 5 months and many many trips to their service department. I was told everything from “brake noises are normal” to “it’s the shocks not the brakes”. I got one of the senior service advisers in the truck with me and he agreed its not normal. I scheduled a Saturday appointment for the drums to be machined. When I took the truck in I was assured that it would be an hour and half of work. At 3 hours they said they haven’t even taken it back and at almost 6 hours I found out the guy was gone and they could not find the paperwork but “he fixed the issue”. The brakes sounded good for about 2 weeks and the noise started back, I took the truck to a shop that specialized in break work and they said the drums were never machined. I took the truck back and talked with the sales guy that sold me the truck while I was waiting on the service department and we decided to switch me out of that Colorado since I was having a hard time getting the issue addressed. I was given the same about I paid for the truck so all I was out was for the registration and tags. I decided to go with another diesel Colorado this time a 2016 lifted with a long bed and <25,000 miles (if my memory serves me). This was a beautiful truck and one I thought I would love to own, until I got it home. Ugh.. I took the truck in the next day the service department was open because the remote start would not work (thought this would be something tested before they sold it, guess not). I stayed there because they said they would run a quick diagnostic on it. After a few hours I found out the truck was still not even taken back. I left the truck with the service department to get the diagnostic done. During the first two weeks I was told many things such as it’s a wire issue, harness issue, we seen it before for electrical issues, it may be the computers, and so on. At the start of the third week I found out that they haven’t even looked at it thoroughly yet because they were so backlogged on work. At the end of the 3rd week I finally got it back after they replaced a computer. The following weekend I was driving and put it into 4 wheel drive (I know I should of done this sooner but I really only had the truck about a week) and found that it made a knocking noise at every turn. You guessed it I took it back in and after dragging several people on a ride with me they agreed that it was not right. After about a week they sent the truck to another shop to get a new drive shaft. After about a week there I started to call the shop to find out how long they would have the truck.. They apparently did not even start on the work and they couldn’t hear the issue with the truck.. They had the truck another week and Reliable finally took the truck back. Over the next 5-6 weeks Reliable could not fix the issue and I was either there or calling them 2-3 times a week finding out what was being done and what the plan was. After they had this latest truck about 11 weeks total I decided to get rid of this truck because Reliable said they would not fix the truck and I would either need to sell it back to them or trade it in for another on their lot. I did look at a new Trailboss but did not like going from a truck with many purks to one that had none and must pay more. Next my experience with the General Manager…. I finally got a meeting with the General Manager after weeks of telling the service manager that I would like to speak with him about the issues. I met with the GM and this is where he stated he would not fix the truck and I could either trade it in or sell it back. During the conversation he stated that “I don’t like being held hostage on the truck” and he was told “I was dragging my feet in making a decision what I wanted to do. I told him “I was just told 2 days ago that you may not be able to fix the truck, and I was the one pushing for my truck to be fixed and to find out what the plan was”. During our conversations he said several times that “I have talked with the AG (Attorney General) about your case” and “The AG is a friend of mine”. I told the GM that I could not do business with him since I have had such bad experiences here and did not like the offers any trade. Since this was done on a Saturday I was going to return on Monday to handle the paperwork. When Monday comes I go in and we discuss what we would do and what we discussed on Saturday. They would buy the truck back at full price plus the amount I spent on additions to the truck (mainly on the bed cover). Turned out that he wanted to give me about $12,000 for the truck and he asked me for a $23,000 check. During this disagreement he brought up that the AG is his friend and asked if I had legal representation to look over the numbers. I told him by my math and thoughts I should be leaving with how much equity I had in the vehicle, payed about 12K from the previous trade into this trade so I should get 12K back. He left with his accountant and about 10 minutes later he said that he just talked to his lawyer and it would cost more to fight than to just pay out. Between my experience with their service department and their GM I would never recommend Reliable Chevrolet/Nissan to anyone. More

I explai Back in May I took 2017 Camaro in to have some warranty items fixed/replaced. I pulled into the service bay and was asked what the issue was. I explained my two warranty items to the individual. Immediately I was told to go to the dealerships body shop. This was not an issue with the body. It was a minor seat issue and chrome on the door handle peeling. I dealt with the body shop department manager at the time who seemed rushed and not really wanting to help me. However he did take pictures with his personal cellphone, took all my information and gave me a story about it taking a month to get approval back from Gm on the warranty items. 2 months go by and no contact. I go back to the dealerships and a new manager had taken over. He had no records of me or my warranty on file. Luckily the secretary recognizes me from my previous visit. He apologized and said he would get me taken care of. Again this manager took pictures of my warranty items, took all my information and said he would be in contact with me when he heard back from GM. 2 more months go by not a word. Now I’m upset, this is twice I have been blown off by these so called professionals. Now I have a check engine light on that needs to be evaluated. This time I take it back to the service side. I’m helped by a man named Tony. I explained my last two dealing with the dealerships and how displeased I was with the services provided so far. I explained my previous issues and my new issue. He tried to look me up in the system and he could not find me, meaning neither one of the managers I dealt with added me to the system for my warranty. He explained to me he would take care of me but I had little faith. He kept in contact with me updating me on status and back order parts. Ultimately he was a man of his word and got me taken care of however it took me going through 2 managers and 3 visits before I dealt with a competent person. To me that is unacceptable. Thank you to Tony for his service and dedication to managing a bad customer experience and making the most of it. More
