There is a need for good mechanics at dealerships. I could be certified that doesn't mean I'm good. Customer service is key. I bought my van from Regal Honda on Lakeland Hills. Top notch service and sales. That's why we always drive the distance to go there for service and sales. Regal Chevrolet on U.S. 98 S. on the other hand will NEVER get my business. My first experience was getting a flat tire replaced that was under warranty. TERRIBLE service, bad attitude etc. Figured they were just having a bad day. Most recently I went by (they are 3 mins. from my house compared to the other location we use which is 20+ mins. ) to simply get a gift card that they had advertised for over a month. You would think it would be simple. No. It was a major production asking for every bit of personal information, plus vehicle information, although we were already in their system. He was working on the desktop, then switched to the laptop, and back and forth. He didn't seem to have a clue as to what he was doing. The part that infuriated me was when he said he had to go get the vin number and took my keys "just in case" he needed them. You can plainly see the VIN number from the windshield, but instead he went into my vehicle, where all my personal belongings, personal documents, beverages etc. were sitting. He then DROVE my vehicle WITHOUT PERMISSION. When I saw what he was doing, I was livid. "Melissa" at the cashier's desk noticed I was angry and eavesdropped into a conversation I was having with my son. She then went VERY QUICKLY out to the guy and forewarned him I was upset. His excuse for driving the vehicle was "I thought I was helping you bringing it closer." I parked it where I wanted to park it and walked to the service dept. He wasn't doing me a favor, he was doing himself a favor so he didn't have to make the walk back. I asked his name and he proceeded to give me one but quickly said, "John". Then when we went to check out with the cashier, she tried to keep the actual gift card and said that it stays with their paperwork. Now, here's the interesting part: 1) We are in the middle of a WORLDWIDE PANDEMIC. This guy had NO MASK and NO GLOVES on, yet he got into my vehicle, handling the steering wheel, gear shift, door etc. Inexcusable! He put me, my son AND my 77 year old mother at risk. He had absolutely NO BUSINESS doing what he did. 2) He lied when he gave me his name: His name isn't "John". It's CHRIS LASHLEY! As I told one of the employees that I encountered when I "tried" to talk with management: If they were the last dealership in Polk County, I still would never give them my business. More

I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS DEALERSHIP. I MADE AN APPOINTMENT FOR A RECALL ON MY CAR AND WHEN I DID I SPECIFICLY ASKED IF THEY HAD THE PARTS IN STOCK FOR THE REPAIR. I WAS TOLD YES. AFTER WAITING IN APPOINTMENT FOR A RECALL ON MY CAR AND WHEN I DID I SPECIFICLY ASKED IF THEY HAD THE PARTS IN STOCK FOR THE REPAIR. I WAS TOLD YES. AFTER WAITING IN A PACKED WAITING AREA DURING A COVID PANDEMIC FOR AN HOUR AND 15 MINUTES THE SERVICE REP CAME OUT AND TOLD ME THEY DID NOT HAVE THE PARTS IN STOCK. WHY WAS THIS NOT CHECKED PRIOR TO MY APPOINTMENT AND CONVEYED TO ME THE DAY PRIOR TO PREVENT A WAIT AND LONG DRIVE TO YOUR DEALERSHIP? More
