I recently purchased a 2002 Pontiac Firebird from Red's Auto & Truck in Colorado. The only issue is that I live in Louisiana. ( A little background: I was buying the car as a gift for my brother. It is the Auto & Truck in Colorado. The only issue is that I live in Louisiana. ( A little background: I was buying the car as a gift for my brother. It is the exact same year, make, model, and color of one that he used to own several years ago. It nearly broke his heart when got into an accident which totalled it!) Initially I was a little apprehensive about buying a car online but my salesman (Mike Willis) explained the whole process to me.He was patient with me and answered all of my questions. He called every day to keep me updated on the progress. He even arranged for the shipping. From the time I contacted them, to time I received the car was a little over a week! Their financial salesman (Justin) found me a vehicle warranty I could afford. All in all, a good experience! More

While looking it over, I found many problems with an attempt to cover them up. Some that were cosmetic (like the dash being completely destroyed, but covered up with a dash cover), but many that needed repairs. The top of the engine was cleaned to cover a major oil leak from the heads. Power steering leak, cv joints were trash, ball joint boots shredded, transmission fluid smelled burnt, transmission seal leak, brake pads on their last stretch, seatbelt that would not latch. The list goes on. One major problem was the chassis basically rotting away and covered by DIY undercarriage spray. A BIG red flag for anyone looking for a used vehicle! This vehicle was advertised as in great condition online for about $17,000. They would not drop the price by a penny even after mentioning some issues I found. It is understandable a used vehicle comes with problems, but the problem was this dealership pretending these issues didn't exist. I decided I didn't want to spend $17K on a project. Before having the chance to tell the salesman I didn't want it, he came out of the building agitated and said, "are you going to buy this vehicle or not?" I walked away. Take some time to look over a used vehicle, and don't let salesmen push you into purchasing junk. It is your money, and salesmen just want to take it. More

Mike the owner and Mike the salesman really went out of their way to answer my questions, tolerate several test drives, and handle my other requests. I found a car I liked and the sales process went smoothly. 3 days after buying the car the battery died. As-Is means just what it says so I was surprised when Red's replaced it free of charge. All in all a very good experience. I will certainly recommend them to others. More
Nice enough people, but they sold me a lemon. Full disclosure I paid $40,000 for a 2014 Silverado with 110,000 miles. (Yes, I know I overpaid) I waited a year to write a review, so it’s not emotionally charged, just facts about my experience as a first time buyer. About a week after I bought it, all sorts of issues started to arise including electrical, mechanical, and basic maintenance that was over looked. The warranty I bought covers none of this. When I inquired what could be done they recommended me to a mechanic in Denver and to “Tell em’ Reds sent you” . There was no sort of discount or deal with this mechanic, they just wanted to make sure their name was heard. Nothing was ever resolved with the dealer. Since purchasing the truck in August of 2021 I’ve been repairing it on top of making monthly payments. It feels like a giant paper weight I’m stuck with. Im not one to leave reviews, but Ive decided this one is necessary , based on my experience doing business with Reds. Please, be warned before you buy! More
Went in and checked out a car I liked, told salesman I would buy after the weekend when I received my new card on Monday in the mail for down payment (lost card, bank sent new one). Sold car out from unde would buy after the weekend when I received my new card on Monday in the mail for down payment (lost card, bank sent new one). Sold car out from under me over weekend without even a phone call to let me know someone else was interested so I could try and get in there. Not a good way to earn future business on anything with a new customer. Don't shop here, better options up the road, including salepeople that at least have ethics. More
I was looking for a Hyundai Genesis and got one by contacting Stan! I was offered an exceptional trade in offer for my truck. Stan was easy to work with and even went on the test drive with me and was contacting Stan! I was offered an exceptional trade in offer for my truck. Stan was easy to work with and even went on the test drive with me and was very friendly and had plenty of knowledge about vehicles. Stan is the man if he can’t get you in a car no one can! Justin helped me out in financing and got me an amazing rate and was clear and precise on everything with all the forms and signing. Thank you again to Reds Auto and Truck and I look forward to buying another vehicle. More
The two hour drive to and from this place was completely worth it. I worked with Stan, Mike, and Justin. They were all very patient with waiting for a co-signer from out of state, and explained everything worth it. I worked with Stan, Mike, and Justin.
