Victor did a great job - from check in to return of the vehicle after services. My vehicle had a few extra things that needed to be done that I was not anticipating, and he was patient in explaining to me vehicle after services. Brought my vehicle in for an oil change at about 8:15. Victor was there and promptly met me. The service was great, and fast. Victor kept me appraised of my vehicle status and when it was ready. The service was very good. The little girl who checked me out needed to get off of her phone & recognize the customer standing in front of her. That’s why she has a job. Car was towed to dealership on monday. I waited till wednesday to send a text to see if they had time to look at it. After several hours and no response, I called. Another employee picked up and told me my rep was on the phone. She stated she would give him the message and he would call me right back, it was a little after 12 noon. After I still hadn't recieved a call back the next day I called again. Employee stated my service rep had just run over to the shop and they would put me on hold and try to catch him. Employee never came back to the phone, so I hung up. I called back 6 times that day before I finally got my service advisor on the phone. He stated the engine was blown and they had finally got Hyundai to approve the replacement, free of charge. H had found out that morning. You think that would have been good news and he would have called me, but no. Meanwhile I had been getting rides to and from work for 4 days with no updates or contact. I asked the rep about a rental car since this was a recall with the Hyundai engines and was replaced free of charge. He stated it was the customers responsibility to aquire a rental car and the dealership had nothing to do with it. I told him okay, and hung up. After 5 mins on the Hyundai forums I found out that was a lie and because of the recall Hyundai was required to provide a rental until I got my car back. I called him back and informed him of this. He stated that was true but that the dealer no longer got involved because Hyundai doesnt pay their bills with the rental company. He stated I would have to deal directly with Hyundai. I stated that was fine, could I please have thier number. He gave it to me and I hung up deciding I would never use this dealership again. I called Hyundai and after dealing with an amazing employee named Rob everything was squared away and he set up the rental. When my car was finished I had a family member drive me to the dealership. He commented on how filthy the car was inside and out. I had just washed it the day before the engine blew. Car was covered in dirt and the driver side floorboard as covered in dirt and debris. This is my second Hyundai with Red Mccombs and it will be my last. They will never get my business again for any reason. If you call service and get a rep named Gustavo, ask for someone else. More
