While I had an excellent purchase from Red McCombs when I bought my 4Runner, I feel like the service department has gone downhill over the past 2 years. Wait times have gotten longer and longer, and repair p bought my 4Runner, I feel like the service department has gone downhill over the past 2 years. Wait times have gotten longer and longer, and repair prices have gotten higher and higher. After a 5+ hour wait for my vehicle, with no updates, I received a quote for $1745 and the service tech expected me to approve that on the spot and continue to wait. When I stated I did not have the $1745 that day nor the time to wait for the repair after a 5-hour wait, he seemed irritated. A nearly $2000 repair takes some budgeting for most people! Plus, I did not have another 5 hours to wait to get my vehicle back. I have had all my vehicle maintenance done here since I bought my 4Runner, but I believe I will start looking for another repair facility. More
The length of time I waited was unacceptable. My appointment was scheduled at 11:15 am and I waited until after 3:30 pm for it to be done. It would have been helpful if there was a link to let you know around what time they think you will ready when you make the appt. That way you can have someone pick you up or setup a ride share. I was given a possible time it would be completed once I arrived, however it lasted longer than that time. More
