I am definitely done with both Red McCombs Hyundai Northwest & Superior dealerships. I had a very good 12 year experience with a 2007 Santa Fe purchased at Northwest so I purchased another Santa Fe in Northwest & Superior dealerships. I had a very good 12 year experience with a 2007 Santa Fe purchased at Northwest so I purchased another Santa Fe in 2021. There is not room to express the headaches with attempting to get service for three different issues. I then went to Superior where they at least looked at it on the first day, but it took more than 2 months to replace a headlight. Then they refused to honor the warranty when front safety/cruise control stopped working, insisting that I must have hit something that knocked the radar out of alignment. I told them I had not hit anything & that it stopped working after a lightning storm, but they said it would cost me $1,700 to repair. I took the vehicle to another dealership, and they recalibrated it for no charge since it is still under warranty. It is now working perfectly. Thank goodness I did not give & pay $1,700 when all it needed was to be recalibrated. I will drive a little farther now for honest, effective service as well as for my next Hyundai purchase. I am very disappointed with the negative changes with service at Red McCombs since this last buying experience. More
I recently had an on again, off again, recurring electronics issue which may have required leaving my car for service for a couple of days. Service Asst. Mgr. Over the last several years or handling my service needs he has always sought ways to provide the best service at the lowest reasonable cost. I bought a used Genesis G90 (at another dealership) still under warranty and booked an online service appointment at the McCombs dealership. The website informed me I was eligible for their Concierge Service under warranty and booked an online service appointment at the McCombs dealership. The website informed me I was eligible for their Concierge Service. I didn't opt for a loaner, just the free pickup. I received a text confirmation, the name of a service writer, and was told that they would text when they were on their way. No one texted and no one showed up. On the third call to the service department, I finally was able to speak to a live human who informed me that they hadn't honored the Concierge Service since November due to a lack of vehicles. Not only did he have no record of my confirmation, he didn't even show a service appointment. When I reminded him that it was their website that offered the service and accepted the appointment, he said there was nothing they could do about the website. His attitude was blatantly indifferent. No apology, no acceptance of responsibility, no offer to accommodate my service need. Nothing. He could not have cared less. So I went to my trusted shop for the oil chance and will probably go to Austin for the warranty work, hoping that the Genesis dealer there won't offer such pathetic service. More

Service for SCC being out , after waiting 3 hrs just to have the tech discover it was just a unplugged wheel hub but I had to make the Service Rep tell me what was wrong. It was just sign this and this again having basically bully this xxxxxxx to tell me what was wrong . To add the tech left my driver side car matt dirty with grease again why dealerships fail to use the paper protectors ? This is why Hyundai has customers disgusted with the brand for lack of customer service after the sell! More

He was very helpful in taking care of our needs with his friendly, efficient, detailed, and fast service. The ease of whole service was exceptional along with his staff.
