Purchased car 6 months ago. Left car due to low tire pressure. Advised it would be 1 hour or more or possibly overnight. Never heard any status. Called next day - they said waiting for tire to come in. When we picked up the car we were charged $295 because we had cancelled the insurance covering road defects. Would like to have known the tire needed replacement but no one contacted us. More
Went here before, before they moved. Swore I would never go back, but decided to try because 410 Red McCombs had no time available. I should have waited. The people are very nice and friendly…I wasn’t mistreated at all…but overall, I feel that when it comes to service…they just don’t care. Generally when I take a vehicle in, I am greeted by someone in the bay who checks me in, notes millage, asks about any concerns, etc. I arrived right before my appointment time..drove in and waited. Waited…waited. Guys were behind the window, talking..wandering around. Finally I CALLED and asked a very nice man what was the protocol? Was I in the right place?? Apparently, I was and the customer is supposed to come in to that office area. A sign or something would be helpful. Very nice service guy came to me with papers to sign…not a word about any concerns…and shortly my car was finished. I paid and left. Cashier, by the way, was exceptional. Now I KNOW there is/was a recall on my car, and several dashboard lights were on (the usual tire thing, wiper fluid)…strangely the Antilock break light. Someone had to see all this when driving the car up to oil change. Wasn’t even addressed, and not a word about the recall, which was on the online appointment form that I filled out. I’m 73+years old..I don’t work on cars, that’s why I go to professionals, especially the dealer to at least suggest when something is unusual with my car. Break dash board light I would think would fall into the “multi point inspection”. So..I’m not mad…I have no complaints about the individuals I dealt with..just the dealerships Customer Service policy that could be stepped up. I will return to other Hyundai location…I see now why there was no waiting on I-10. More
