My experience wasn't perfect, but I did purchase a vehicle. The problem was that I travelled 125mi. from Killeen to purchase a specific model and trim. The agent who I had been communicating was not there, but the replacement agent, Mimi Bevil was a joy to work with. Had it not been for her, we probably wouldn't have purchased a vehicle there, because why would we travel so far to purchase a car that we could get in our own town. It wouldn't make any sense, right? The trim we wanted was not available in Killeen or Round Rock, but I was told McCombs had exactly what we were looking for. As it turned out, they didn't have any hybrid vehicles in the trim we desired (FWD or AWD). But in the end we came to a deal that was mostly satisfactory to both parties. We'll see when I return to the states if we are able to trade this model/trim for what we really wanted. The head manager and Mimi were very professional, but one of the assistant managers was very condescending and unprofessional; questioning my integrity about what I had requested to purchase before we arrived. This was a little off-putting because I myself am a businessman. If he were my employee with that attitude, he would receive some retraining for customer service and business etiquette. Luckily Mimi saved the day! I hope that future dealings with the dealership will change my perception of good business practices. More
