Ray Skillman Northeast Mazda

I initially went into Ray Skillman seeking a used vehicle. After driving the boat I was currently in and dealing with the constant problems of it, I firmly decided that I needed to take a drastic s vehicle. I went into Ray Skillman with my guard up and my skepticism intact. I was ready to settle for anything other than my current vehicle. I didn't think I had much of an opportunity to bargain or negotiate with anyone at Ray Skillman because of my less than perfect credit. I compare going to car dealerships to doctor office visits. I do not like them. At any rate, after arriving at Ray Skillman, I immediately got attention from car salesman, Chris "Chef"Dych, he was very personable and customer service oriented. He wasn't aggressive, pushy or overbearing. Chris seemed genuinely interested in getting me out of my gas guzzler. I explained my situation and the next thing I knew, I was in a brand new shiny Mazda 3! A new car was certainly my dream but I didn't think it was my reality. I had given up on purchasing a new vehicle for the time being and focused instead on a more reliable used car. Ray Skillman on Shadeland thought otherwise and they got me into my new car. Everybody I dealt with at Ray Skillman was friendly and professional. I received a mini tour of their service dept. and got the lowdown info on my car. I even received a personal welcome and a handshake from Mike Bragg, the general manager. I don't recall ever getting this kind of attention from car salespeople I've purchased vehicles from in the past. I've been to reputable dealerships in the past, I might also add. Jeff Bragg in financing took away the uneasy feeling I typically get when I close on an auto deal. Jeff made everything quick and clear with no hassles or confusion. I'd easily recommend Ray Skillman on Shadeland to anyone who either wants a new/used vehicle or doubts that they can get approved for one. They are very cool!! More

I came to NE Mazda dealer because I was interested in the Mazda 3's. I was originally looking at used vehicles especially the Mazda 3 because I thought that a new car was out of my budget, let alone being ap Mazda 3's. I was originally looking at used vehicles especially the Mazda 3 because I thought that a new car was out of my budget, let alone being approved by a bank without a cosigner. Because of previous experiences two years ago with numerous car dealerships, I absolutely hated walking into the dealership in fear that I would yet again be let down by sales consultants telling me I am approved for something when in reality I am not. However, my experience here at NE Mazda was remarkable. Pat Gettins my sales consultant is awesome!!! He had the choice between two colors of Mazda 3's in my price range and he brought up the one I would have chose. Pat is understanding and listened to me when I voiced my concerns of previous experiences at other dealerships. Not only did he keep me as calm as he could through my fears of being let down, other employees came and talked to me to ease my fears. The entire staff is very personable! I want to give a shout out to Jeff Bragg the finance director for doing a great job on getting a bank to approve me with a decent interest rate on a new car and payments less than what I asked for. I know he had to put in some good effort to get me approved because I am a new college graduate with little established credit and lots of student loan debt. This was a smooth car buying process...I did not have to negotiate prices to get what I wanted. I am now a proud new owner and first time car buyer to a 2011 Mazda 3!!!! Zoom-zoom A couple days after I purchased my car I stopped back in and was greeted in the same way as if I was family! The staff remembered me and cared about how I was doing. Pat talked to me outside by my new Mazda 3 for about 10-15 minutes that day! I would recommend this dealership to everyone! Great group of people!! More

We went to another Mazda dealership on Thurs. to drive another make, but ended up driving the CX-9 and liking it. On Thurs. evening we were considering both, but decided to pursue the CX-9 because it was another make, but ended up driving the CX-9 and liking it. Later Thurs. I called Ray Skillman Mazda NE and spoke with Steve Koch. He confirmed they had the CX-9 in the color we wanted with the options we wanted so we planned to go there the next day. Steve was very helpful and worked hard for us to get a satisfactory number for our trade. We came to an agreement and are very happy to receive 0% financing and free maintenance for life on our CX-9! I would highly recommend Steve Koch to my friends who may be looking for a new Mazda! Everyone there was friendly and the warm cookies were very tasty!
