Nightmare Dealership This dealership owns every bad stereotype of a dealership. They sold us a rental vehicle without disclosing the information, which is against New York state law. We drove it off the lot and 2 days later there was smoke coming from the engine. The salesman shrugged it off as leaves from sitting on the lot. It turned out to be a broken Y joint leaking fluid on the engine. They did repair it and called this "above and beyond" in customer service. Since then, we have owned this vehicle for 9 months and have had 6 repairs on it totaling over $2,500. Everything from a computer gear, to an ignition switch, to a gear shifter cable, and 3 out of 4 calipers all completely shot. They must have missed these on their inspection. We have a paper trail of complaints regarding this sale. I've bought 3 vehicles from them and will never buy from them again. They have no sense of what good business is about. When they tried "to get us out of the vehicle", they offered us a vehicle with a higher payment and longer loan. What a joke of customer service. More
In purchasing for the first time from this dealership, I learned that customer service really matters during the sales transaction (after the test drives and shopping around), and that is when Ray Laks Hond learned that customer service really matters during the sales transaction (after the test drives and shopping around), and that is when Ray Laks Honda really drops the ball. As soon as the customer has decided to buy, they become impersonal and extremely incompetent. Be prepared to pay extra fees on pickup - oh, and to have your purchased car driven off the lot by another buyer AFTER you sign the bill of sale. I realize now that this is the point at which I should have walked out and gone to another dealer, even if it meant going up to Transit or another city. The sales manager at this location is especially rude and has quite an off-putting attitude. Go somewhere else, More
I had purchased my 2009 Honda Accord at this dealership and purchased the extended warranty. I recommeded this dealership for my daughter-in-law who had just moved to this area and had just had my first g and purchased the extended warranty. I recommeded this dealership for my daughter-in-law who had just moved to this area and had just had my first granddaughter two weeeks earlier. She needed her snow tires put on her Honda and wanted to check the back brakes as it was making a grinding noise. She was charged $140.45. It was $90 for the tires, and $ 39.45for the diagnostics. This is more than double of any of the service areas that I go to in East Aurora. I highly recommend Dave Allen, Mike's service and Goodyear in my hometown. I sent Rebecca to this service area as it was close and it was much easier to take a 2 week old baby out for a short time until a schedule is established. They also RECOMMEDED that she replace both back brakes, for $295 and replace both control arms for $495 and then a wheel alignment for $89.95. Sounds ideal for the rich and famous but not so good for a mom on maternity leave. I now have the car and have left mine so I can have her Honda looked at in my town in East Aurora. I have gone there for years and in retrospect should have spent the extra time and effort for a reputable honest service facility. A reminder to those looking for good service; don't settle for proximity in lieu of quality service. Sometimes small town service can't be beat. I did think that Jeff was friendly but definitely did not care that I told him i was leaving to make sure all the recommendations were legit and to get a better price. It says that you are rated a 3 plus ( OK plus). I have to assume that it was based on friendliness. I am sorry I purchased the extended warantee. Word of mouth is definitely the best form of advertisement. Anytime a local mentions a Honda, I will be sure to let them know of our experience at Ray Laks. I guess I just did. More

I came into this dealership looking to buy a new car. The salesman was very informative, that is once we actually got a salesman to come talk to us. I was led to a desk to talk about pricing and noticed dead salesman was very informative, that is once we actually got a salesman to come talk to us. I was led to a desk to talk about pricing and noticed dead bugs and trash on the floor around the desk. Not to mention that the floor was FILTHY! My 8 month old son came out of there with his feet BLACKENED with dirt from the floor. If you can't take care of your dealership, then how can I expect you to take care of me as a customer!?! They didn't want to give me much for my trade-in and weren't going to work with me much as far as a deal on a new car. This was just not the dealership for me. More
Ray Laks. The best Honda dealer in customer service, they go the extra mile to keep you satisfied. I am very impressed. I went to other Honda dealers in the Buffalo area and I was not impressed like the expe go the extra mile to keep you satisfied. I am very impressed. Had a great experience at the dealership. Friendly service from everyone, including the General Sales Manager Michael Laks. I did get more for my trade then I did expect and the pricing that was givi service from everyone, including the General Sales Manager Michael Laks. I did get more for my trade then I did expect and the pricing that was giving to me thru email was accurate. Every other dealership in the area did not give accurate pricing on line. It was like a bait and switch. Ray Laks was the only one that gave accurate pricing. Joe Grimaldi is the Internet Sales Manager and he was friendly and responded quickly. He is very helpful and answered all of my questions before I came in. Mark Maloney showed me the car and did the paperwork. Great experience and will definatly be a customer for life! More
Poor salesmen! I went in there and the guy I was dealing with Chris Kane and was noticeably chewing gum, had a "cocky" attitude right from the time we met, and was rude. I was looking at several other cars with Chris Kane and was noticeably chewing gum, had a "cocky" attitude right from the time we met, and was rude. I was looking at several other cars and test drove other cars too and not 1 salesman came with me with the test drive, he on the other hand did. I was uncomfortable and it felt like I was on my road test all over again and didn't get the full expirence if I went alone. He didn't ask if that was ok if he went and normally I've been asked if I wanted to go alone or if I wanted them to come along. We got back, talked numbers, numbers were not where I wanted them to be he told me "If I go back in there and ask him again he will probably tell me to tell you don't let the door hit your xxx on the way out" I couldn't believe he said that to a customer! I was amazed, no deal was made that day and as of that he or the company didn't gain a customer that day nor will they ever again, and I will never send anyone to that place! Needless to say I went and leased with Kia at West Herr and this was my 2nd time with the West Herr family and couldn't be happier. More
You cannot trust them, went into dealership with a pre approved auto loan from credit union, credit union was going to take bi-weekly deductions from checking account, which is great, car gets paid off so approved auto loan from credit union, credit union was going to take bi-weekly deductions from checking account, which is great, car gets paid off sooner. Ray Laks finance department says they can get me a loan almost 1/2 a percent lower and they can arrange for bi-weekly deductions, what they didn't tell me was that there was a $399 application fee to the third part company that would be taking the deductions from my checking account than holding the money till my payment was due. Why would anyone want to pay almost $400 for someone to write checks for them. They never mentioned the fee and never gave me a copy of the contract. It should also be noted that when they quoted me the final cost of the car and after I agreed to buy it, they suddenly discover they made a mistake and added the tax wrong, car was another $1500 dollars, thought it was an honest mistake, after the incident with the car's financing I think it's just part of the dealerships less than ethical way of doing business.
