I would leave this dealership zero stars if I could. They knowingly sold my husband and I a lemon, and nobody at the dealership seems to care. Friday night we pick up the car at 5pm with our newborn baby in tow, and at 7pm the check engine light comes on - right after we drive about 50 miles which if you know anything about cars, means it was reset and after about 50 miles it comes back on if the problem was never fixed. Since the dealership was closed, we decide we’ll call in the morning - surely they’ll help us out. The next morning we call right away, they sound ANNOYED and tell us they don’t have any appointments for a few days. So at this point my husbands new car is blocking me in the driveway, I ask him to let me out so I can run errands and go grocery shopping - and the brand new car WONT EVEN TURN ON. We’re now trapped in our house because my car can’t even get around him. Mind you we have a baby and I’m concerned about his level of food, emergencies, either of us getting to work. So I call back and demand they sent a tow truck TODAY. And look at the car asap. Again I’m met with, well we don’t have any appointments today. Are you kidding me? I buy a car from you less than 12 hours ago that won’t even turn on now and you can’t look at it immediately? I talked to 4 people at the dealership and not one of them even offered me an apology. Why do I feel like an annoyance to them for asking them to care that they sold us a lemon? We also left two voicemails for the manager and he didn’t call us back. I gave him the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe he was off that day until my husband told me he was in the office - he just didn’t have time to speak with us. Lastly they had the audacity to charge us $50 to get a courtesy car while our brand new car is back in service - we had to demand a courtesy car they didn’t even offer one straight away. I’m disappointed and appalled at the way they’re taking advantage of us as a young family. Buyer beware - they clearly knew something was wrong with the car before they sold it to us. It’s too much of a coincidence that it broke down less than 12 hours later, what if we were out and my son was in the car? Terrible. More

Two stars because our salesman was nice and helpful and I had no real issues with him except he kept telling us how much we were going to love this one feature on the van, which I realized after that our van had no real issues with him except he kept telling us how much we were going to love this one feature on the van, which I realized after that our van doesn’t even have. Let’s start by saying this vehicle took DAYS to purchase because they dragged their feet. Was made to sit around for hours only to be told the finance guy couldn’t help us that day as promised, so a waste of a day and a drive. They claimed there was no wiggle room on the price, only to find out at the closing that they bought it at a car auction so I find that hard to believe. Two days after purchasing (we live several hours away) our new used vehicle had a dead battery. We called Ray Laks who said they needed a print out to prove it had a bad battery. Tried several places nearby and no one offered a print out as proof. Two weeks (or less) later the battery is dead AGAIN just from opening the automatic doors. Jumped it, drove about 40 minutes with the vehicle and located an auto zone who would provide a print out. Perfect. Battery tested bad, they gave me a print out and I had it replaced as to not be stranded a third time. I email the proof requested by Ray Laks and the receipt for the new battery only to be told they would now now approve the replacement battery. Ridiculous! Why did they ask for proof if they didn't plan to replace it to begin with?? The salesman claims they tested the battery before selling it, which I don't know how long it sat on the lot, but they also claim to have changed the oil and the oil life says 70% so not sure how credible that is. The car was also sold to us without telling us until we had purchased it that they lost the spare keys to it and then a couple weeks later realizing a bolt for the passenger seat is missing which they installed. Absolutely my worst car buying experience and this is my 5th vehicle. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this dealership! More
I wish I could do negative 5 stars. I have never in my life been ignored by a company that was supposed to be customer service oriented!! if I were to go more than 24 hours at my compan I have never in my life been ignored by a company that was supposed to be customer service oriented!! if I were to go more than 24 hours at my company and not return a call I would be reprimanded and fired the next chance they got. We are now on day 18 of waiting for someone to call me back. This is pathetic and ridiculous to say the least. I am going on day 47 of not being able to drive my car because they never did what they were supposed to and no one is willing to call me back and try and work this out!! I am beyond unhappy at this point, I have never been so disappointed with a company in my life. I will be going to the BBB and I truly hope that someone within this worthless dealership will contact me so I can actually drive my vehicle that I pay $500 a month for instead of it sitting in my driveway untouched. Absolutely unacceptable!! More
I would give them less than one star if I could. We are military and came home to visit and decide to get a new car. When we told them we needed it by Friday (we were there on Tuesday), there reply We are military and came home to visit and decide to get a new car. When we told them we needed it by Friday (we were there on Tuesday), there reply was “we can make this happen.” We got all our loan paperwork done, insurance set up, had our bank overnight a check (because the dealership didn’t want a wire transfer), done deal. NOPE the car we agreed to buy and went through all the work for. The car we were told we would have Friday ( Tomorrow), they couldn’t locate the title. That it would take a week. I am so mad. They were however able to get us another more expensive car. I am absolutely livid. They are not honest and I would never go to them if you had the option. More
I bought my car not even 6 months ago and have had nothing but issues with it since the day it drove off the lot. Now obviously car salesmen know which vehicles are lemons or not, but my guy Steve to nothing but issues with it since the day it drove off the lot. Now obviously car salesmen know which vehicles are lemons or not, but my guy Steve to be exact said he would love to put his daughter in this vehicle and I would too after the amount of times I’ve had to bring it back in for service repairs. Within the 5 months of having this vehicle it has been in 6 times for the same repair and they claim they fix it, but they’re not fixing it at all or the car is a dud and they refuse to inform me. The last time I brought my car in they needed to transfer it to Kia because they couldn’t figure out what was wrong and after getting my car back from Kia I was doing an oil change and various random large pieces of plastic were found under my hood including hidden in my air filter. Not sure if Ray Laks placed that there or Kia but it was 100% NOT something that should’ve been under the hood of my car. It was my mistake not doing research on Ray Laks before going there, but you think you’re getting a good car since you’re at a dealership! WRONG. After telling my experiences to others i’ve had feedback in regards to Ray Laks and everyone says they are full of BS and will do whatever to make a sale and gather their commission. I can say within the times I’ve had to bring my car in the guys at service repairs were very kind to me when speaking and setting up appointments. Personally I would not recommend purchasing or even leasing a vehicle through Ray Laks because you’re better off just going down the street to any other dealership! More
Purchased 2017 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack' 15,300 miles, sight unseen on Feb. 23, 2022 going by pics and salesperson conversation. I remember saying you wouldn't steer me wrong and I think the response wa sight unseen on Feb. 23, 2022 going by pics and salesperson conversation. I remember saying you wouldn't steer me wrong and I think the response was I wouldn't be disappointed. Sale went very good, arrangements made for shipping and car arrived. I felt the price was in ballpark of what was out there, as I had been looking at other cars of same model. As soon as delivered and looking over, disappointment in bad choice and conveyed to salesperson that I wish I had made the drive over (4 hour via Canada, 7 1/2 hours stateside) to look at and that I probably would not have purchased. Worse car as far cleanliness, as supposedly detailed, understand exterior dirty from transporting. The finish is/was all scratched (so far 25+ hours in paint correction and detail). I would think for $42,000 that tires would reflect that, two new and two original 5 year old crap tires that supposedly met safety inspection. But hey, their play on words reporting to Carfax that tires were replaced. Not two tires or four tires replaced like other dealers report to Carfax. Two tires were very close to wear bars and cracks in the treads and sides. Badly delaminated infotainment screen. Just the idea that I am the smuck that bit on this Carfax, 1-owner, great miles car. I know nothing will come of this, I'm not a local customer, but I guess I learned a lesson. Oh, and supposedly 80,000 mile service performed, per Dodge maintenance schedule, including cabin air filter, couldn't even get that right or replaced, guessing it was original too. I have bought a 2019 Honda Odessy and 2019 Chevrolet Silverado LTZ within the last year, so I know what I was looking at and for. The car is looking great now, but I didn't want or need a project car. More
