My Gratitude to Chris Gioffre and His Team I was very concerned going into the repair without knowing the length of the repair and potential cost for our 2005 Mercedes SLK 350 2 weeks ago. I ha I was very concerned going into the repair without knowing the length of the repair and potential cost for our 2005 Mercedes SLK 350 2 weeks ago. I had engine trouble and needed an honest diagnosis of the situation. That's why I brought it to Chris Gioffre 's attention as I have known him for many years as the service manager at Ray Catena Lexus of Monmouth and Freehold. We purchased and serviced many of our family vehicles there. Chris and his service centers have always provided excellent services to our family. Ray Catena's family tree is growing and currently Chris is over seeing the service centers not only at Lexus of Monmounth and Freehold, but also at Freehold Audi and Freehold Mercedes. Of all the service centers Chris is overseeing as the manager, I would of appreciate that he could just place a call to the dealership to expect my car to be serviced. What Chris did after his initial communication with the service center was just out of my expectation. He was there every step of the way from the day I have the car towed into the dealership (from East Brunswick NJ) , while it was exam by the service consultant Richard, (also a top notch professional) and going over the details of the repair...... until the end. There are not enough words that I can express my gratitude to Chris, even thou it might be another day of work for him..... I sincerely appreciate Chris and his team for what they done and I am thankful to have high quality service centers to go to after purchasing premium cars from Ray Catena Dealerships over the years. My salesman Joe V and the finance guy Nick T were very helpful and easy to deal with. I have already had a problem with the car that I created, by hitting a large pothole and bent 2 rims . When purchasing vehicle, my salesman and finance guy recommended getting the tire and wheel package, which I usually don't, but this time I did. Those two rims were over $1100 each. They repaired both rims free of charge with a smile .Dondi the service manager and Walter the service director were excellent to deal with. I even met the general manager Rich .I would definitely recommend this dealer . More

Willie gave informed us of our rights, searched out a loaner for us, and got the car repaired by warranty like it should have been. I feel much better staying with Mercedes (in Freehold) and with Willie. More
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND 3 HOURS OF WASTED TIME! Mr. Dan Holden and my experience with him today was horrible. He did not address any of my problems. All he did was waste three hours of my time. I have had my vehicle battery jump started by service 4 times over the last 6 months. My cars battery was replaced months back with another bad and used battery. I spoke with service manager on Friday who told me to bring my car in Monday to have my battery replaced. Dan Holden wasted my time, told me many error codes came up but the battery still shows ok. Also my fuse box cover is missing clips and told me he has to get from a salvage. Really just change the entire cover. Spending 50K on a car at this dealership and this is how i am treated. More
Avoid this place at ALL COSTS!!!!!!! I've brought my GL here almost 5 times in 6 months. Every time it comes in, they nickel and dime every single repair, and always push for unnecessary repairs to up sell their services (put new wipers on 2 days before service - was told i needed new ones when brought in here). My recent visit was the straw that broke the camel's back - when it was a 300 dollar AC repair, that rose to 2500 dollars within 30 minutes, since they "forgot" to tell me about a few other things. When i refused the repairs, it became a negotiation - and they could reduce the cost to 1500 - my question is - why are you trying to charge me an additional 1000 dollars, and only when i ask to have my car back, begin negotiating repair costs - when the xxxx has a service center ever been a place of significant negotiation?? Also - they slow rolled my initial repair as i was killing time speaking with sales - in hopes of me buying a car from them. Overall, the shadiest place i've ever been too - they single handedly have almost turned me off from the brand all together. I will NEVER bring my cars there, and have made sure to tell everyone i know to avoid this place at all costs. Horrible, horrible service. Beyond shady operation. BBB complaint submitted. Hope this place goes away and ceases to tarnish an overall great brand in Mercedes. More
