We first purchased our new 2017 GLS 550 SUV at Ray Catena in Edison. My first experience with Freehold was after 4 days of owning my brand new vehicle I got a blowout on 1 of my tires and called for roadway assistance and a driver from the Freehold dealer came and changed my tire. I then contacted Freehold and came in to the service department to order a new tire, the same day they installed my new tire and the charge came out to $589.00 and when I sat down with the service advisor, Mary Sabine, she told me that as a courtesy I was not being charged for the tire. 3 months later our car started giving us serious problems, to the point that I was driving around more in a loaner car then I was in my own. Dondi the Service Manager, always made it a priority, to make sure that he did his best to resolve the problem and if he could not he would always find the person or people who could. After 6 months of going back and forth to the dealer and not being able to resolve the problems that the vehicle had, Mercedes ended up giving us a new vehicle, thanks to all the phone calls made by Dondi. This is just a few of my positive experiences with Ray Catena Mercedes Freehold. I can not say enough good things about the dealership itself as well as the people that work there. My husband and I are very happy that we chose a Mercedes vehicle, because they definitely stand by there product. More

worst service ever They didn't give me a loaner because i didn't buy my Mercedes S550 in Rey Catena location. Then i called Mercedes of Greenwich in Ct to do service and They didn't give me a loaner because i didn't buy my Mercedes S550 in Rey Catena location. Then i called Mercedes of Greenwich in Ct to do service and they gave me a loaner without any problems. I'm driving 2015 Mercedes S550. Im waiting for new model of S550 that will come out probably in 2020 and i will go to Mercedes of Greenwich to buy it because they provide better service instead of going to Mercedes of Freehold. They just lost a $100, 000 customer. More
Unreasonable and a total waste of time. Brought my e350 coupe in for a diagnostic, it had a check engine light and the left daytime and low beam were out. I have a third part warranty so naturally they covered the check engine light and that was fixed but not the head lamp issues. The senior service accountant quoted me $1400 for the headlight out of pocket so I declined, deciding to take it else where to get a better rate. I received my car back with 4 warring lights on the dash... now the left blinker is not working, neither is the high beam and the previous issue, the low beam and the parking light are out. When I spoke with the senior service specialist again he told me that the headlight is failing and that replacing the unit and paying $1400 will make the newly created problems go away. Based on my tone of disappointment in the conversation, he reiterated that he sleeps good at night knowing he did everything he could to fix my issue. I believe that once they found out that I wasn't going to pay the $1400 (almost 10% of the vehicles trad-in value) they just slapped it back together carelessly, creating the two additional lights on the dash. In conclusion, if you make calculated decisions and don't like to throw money into the wind, stay clear of this Ray Catena location as I have had very positive experiences in other Ray Catena locations. More
