We first purchased our new 2017 GLS 550 SUV at Ray Catena in Edison. My first experience with Freehold was after 4 days of owning my brand new vehicle I got a blowout on 1 of my tires and called for roadway assistance and a driver from the Freehold dealer came and changed my tire. I then contacted Freehold and came in to the service department to order a new tire, the same day they installed my new tire and the charge came out to $589.00 and when I sat down with the service advisor, Mary Sabine, she told me that as a courtesy I was not being charged for the tire. 3 months later our car started giving us serious problems, to the point that I was driving around more in a loaner car then I was in my own. Dondi the Service Manager, always made it a priority, to make sure that he did his best to resolve the problem and if he could not he would always find the person or people who could. After 6 months of going back and forth to the dealer and not being able to resolve the problems that the vehicle had, Mercedes ended up giving us a new vehicle, thanks to all the phone calls made by Dondi. This is just a few of my positive experiences with Ray Catena Mercedes Freehold. I can not say enough good things about the dealership itself as well as the people that work there. My husband and I are very happy that we chose a Mercedes vehicle, because they definitely stand by there product. More

Took a chance, left with no regrets Recently purchased a GLA from here. Drove 3 hours in NYC traffic to get this particular model because it's rare and even more rare to find in red. Like a GREAT deal. So if you had any doubts that should have ended it. On top of that deal. The customer service to this day is top notch, out of this world. My dealer Gina who sold me car is still in touch with me and available to answer questions so fast. I text her and in minutes I get an answer. Where do you get that kind of customer service otherwise? Can you text your MacBook rep when you got a question? No way. Can you do that for your bank, credit card, anything that really matters? Nope. This car matters to me and Ray Catena of Freehold keeps me worry free. More
360 turn around from worst to best For the past 20 years, my wife and I have each owned/leased a Mercedes M-Class SUV since the first year they came out. Between my wife and I, we have had about 14 M-Class SUVs in several different colors. I can remember back in the first year people would actually beep at one another who owned them! During the past 20 years we have purchased or leased from 4 different Mercedes dealerships here in NJ. We started out with Ray Catena of Edison (who was our local dealership at the time) which we always had a very good experience with but as we moved to different parts of the state we changed to other local dealerships along the way. Then about 3 years ago we starting using the Freehold Mercedes dealership on Rt. 9 and we literally had the worst experience in our lives and I swore we would go to any other dealer (no matter how far away) just not to use them again!. But before we had to do that we learned that Ray Catena purchased the dealership. I said to my wife, OK we started with Ray Catena lets try them again now that there right here at our local Freehold dealership. Our salesman that we dealt with was Matt Rafla, and I can honestly say he has best the nicest, and most helpful salesman we have worked with in all 20 years of owning/leasing Mercedes M-Class SUV's. I didn't think it was possible, but Ray Catena turned the worst Mercedes dealership we ever dealt with (the formerly owned Freehold Mercedes) into the best Mercedes dealership (Ray Catena of Freehold) we have ever dealt with!
