Finically we made the right choice for my husband and I thanks to Alan's advice. Both were very helpful and and very diligent in meeting our needs to make a deal. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a Lexus. The overall experience was beyond great!!!! Inferior Quality and Appalling Service I bought my a brand new white 2014 Lexus GX460 last year, and was beyond excited to have my very first luxury SUV. At first, it was wonderful to enter I bought my a brand new white 2014 Lexus GX460 last year, and was beyond excited to have my very first luxury SUV. At first, it was wonderful to enter the dealer to be greeted by sandwiches, drinks, a free car wash, and lavishness each time I had to bring in my SUV. Unfortunately, the allure ended there. I quite often found myself there for hours waiting for a simple oil change, only to find that they had completely forgotten I was there. Additionally, the complimentary car wash was either non-existent, or sub par to say the least. While this was disappointing, I figured that my SUV was still wonderful, so the lack of service was less aggravating. It wasn't until this past summer of 2015, with only 20,000 miles on my first SUV, that I was convinced by Ray Catena Lexus of Freehold to trade in my white 2014 GX460 for a new 2015 GX460, and enter into another 5 year financing plan. They assured me that the reason they were giving me this great new deal, was because there was another customer that was interested in purchasing my current vehicle. Looking back now, I am unsure that this was the case, because the 2015 has been nothing but problems from the day after I drove off the lot. In the second day of driving my new vehicle, I heard a noise while I was driving, only to find the my driver's seat had completely fallen off. After a trip back to Lexus, they clicked it back in and told me it would then be okay. At this point I also expressed concern about the navigation screen flickering, but was made to feel like it was all in my head. About a month later, the seat fell off for a second time, and they replaced the clips, stating once again, that it would all be okay after that. They also reset the navigation system, seemingly just to appease me, and cease the complaints. Not long after, the seat fell off for a third time, finally resulting in it's replacement, though nothing more was done to help with the screen issues. Following the seat debacle, I was hoping that I would return to only having issues with the lack of service when the car was in for maintenance, but unfortunately, that was not the case. This time, however, the car began shutting off while I was driving, and was not able to be turned back on, leaving me completely stranded, sometimes on major highways. Back to the dealer it went!!! The battery died 4 times after that, and was towed back to Lexus, only to be asked rather condescendingly, if I was leaving the lights on and draining the battery. As a courtesy, so I was told, they changed the battery for me, despite there being "nothing wrong." Just two day later, the battery died (yet again) and the car had to be returned to Lexus! It was at this point that they told me that the radio needed to be replaced (you know that one I kept complaining about), because it was draining the battery. After being there for numerous days, it was returned to me looking filthier then when it went in, and, as the icing on the cake, now has a ding and scratch in the door, compliments of Ray Catena Lexus of Freehold. As a result, I will be without my car again, as it must return to the body shop to be repaired. Overall, I am appalled with the lack of service, and poor quality that comes out of this dealership. The sandwiches, snacks, and soda are not nearly enough to compensate for all the issues that I have had with this vehicle, and the substandard service that I have been given. I have had a multitude of problems that are seemingly never ending, and am paying a whole lot of money for the "luxury" of having them. All the years I had a Hyundia they didn't give you a thing, but at least I had a vehicle that continued to run consistently, and with all the money I would save, I could pay to take it to a place where my car is actually washed! I couldn't be more disappointed with Lexus, and Ray Catena Lexus of Freehold. Absolutely appalled. More
