This review is for Randy Wise Motorcars in Grand Blanc: So far, the car I purchased from Randy Wise Motorcars has not been a problem but the transaction itself was not a good experience. I spent a Blanc: So far, the car I purchased from Randy Wise Motorcars has not been a problem but the transaction itself was not a good experience. I spent a good part of last Friday on the phone or texting with Colin, and I have the entire conversation saved. Initially I wanted to pick up the car on Saturday but because I wasn’t able to visit my bank to pick up the check until Saturday, it was up in the air if I was going to be able get the check and be at this dealership by my appointment time of 11am Saturday. I confirmed with Colin, via text by 10am that I was on my way. I was told that it would be ready. When I test drove the car, it was pretty dirty and I was told that they didn’t get it detailed in time. I made it known that it was disappointing and inexcusable to NOT give me a heads up and offer to me a Monday pick up. They already had my $500 deposit. Then there was an error made by NOT applying the deposit to the payment (I have the text message where Colin asked me, and I answered yes to applying the deposit to the $ owed). It was just a human error but I told them I wanted it corrected and added to the cost of the car. I was told that the refund into my account would be immediate but after I got home, I discovered that it was not. It wasn’t until Monday am that the refund of the deposit hit my account. And lastly, I was told that they would detail the car this week and even made the appointment before I left the dealership for the following Monday. I received a text from Colin stating that he couldn’t honor that appointment because he didn’t check to see if the appropriate people would be available. I responded to that text indicating that I didn’t want to bring the car all the way back from East Lansing and I would appreciate the dealership paying for detailing somewhere near me. Colin texted me saying that he would make sure they could accommodate this request even if he had to pay for it himself. I now know that was more empty words as I have not heard anything. I still feel that all of the above was just human error but it reflects poorly on their business and shows that their word means nothing. Very disappointing. More
