The best dealership service department I've ever used! Service reps are always super nice and helpful. They seem to always be busy but still get my service done in much shorter time than I would expect. Service reps are always super nice and helpful. Free Keurig coffee and bottled water as well as some light snacks (like granola bars, etc.) Even if I didn't have a Subaru, I'd take my car here! More
When you take your car to a Subaru dealership for service, you expect to pay for quality workmanship. ***UPDATE*** Chuck, Tom, Kemmy, and the team went above and beyond to ensure my car was in service, you expect to pay for quality workmanship. ***UPDATE*** Chuck, Tom, Kemmy, and the team went above and beyond to ensure my car was in great condition after replacing the entire A/C system (the heat works, remote starter is wired up, and my wheel got patched). They were kind to perform a courtesy headlight restoration for my troubles and deliver my car to me when it was ready. I appreciate that the team was accountable and made my car work better than when I brought it in, as I requested. THANK YOU 1000000x for making this right!! I expect this level of service every time — it's what we pay for! — I brought my car in to Randy Marion 5x in a month for the same issue: the A/C was not working. It took 3 visits to determine that the entire system needed to be replaced. The mechanic had to take the dash completely apart, unhook all the wires, and then put it back together again after installing new parts. BIG job. After nearly two weeks in the shop, I arrived to pick up my car and learned that they were unable to get my remote starter reconnected because it didn't match/follow their Subaru wiring map/guidelines. I was sooo bummed to lose the ability to use my remote starter. When it’s over 100 degrees, I want my car to cool down before driving and not have to leave my keys in it. I offered to buy a new part if they will install and was told it could not be done. The wires were a mess (I bought it used, so who knows why), and they struggled to wire it back together. (awesome) A few days later when it was chilly I turned on my heat and it blew ice-cold air. Even on HIGH. I had A/C and no heat. LOL. There were also slashes on my steering wheel from the teeth of the harness holding it while the dash was apart. AND (again) my remote start didn’t work. I couldn’t let it go. Returning for a 5th time . . . only because I already paid so much money for this job. I am going on a looong road trip to NY and ME in a couple of weeks and am nervous that my car might break down due to a wiring issue. Then I'd have to pay someone 8++ hours of labor AGAIN to take the dash apart. Nope. I know mechanics it's a tough job. When I am upcharged 3x+ on parts and paying a premium for a Subaru's specialized labor, I expect that my car will come out better than when it went in and that any mistakes are made right. **Make my car work like new!** I’ve definitely paid for it! I am grateful that my service rep, Jarret, is very responsive and professional. He's been patient and thorough in his explanations. The tech (Imran) was patient to explain the wiring harness situation, but unfortunately, did not provide a proper solution or escalate to management regarding the remote — he essentially said that I could to go to a radio shop to see if they’ll do it for me (costing me more money). **see update at top for resolution** More
